Brother HL-820 Budget Laser Printer offers true 600 dpi printing combined with microfine toner produces pin sharp quality print output at up to 8ppm. The unique Straight Paper Path Technology ensures smooth, crumple-free printing on a wide range of media types & weights. The well-designed input paper cassette tray (A5 to Legal) holds 200 sheets, plus a manual feed slot, and provides excellent paper handling. The media setting control allows you to obtain the optimum print quality on differing media types, every time. The cassette even takes C4 envelopes, giving an unparalleled convenience in the handling of routine correspondence. A fast 8ppm printer, utilizing a power packed controller (16 MHz) which gives an impressively fast output. Optimized first page output is <15 seconds. Brother's own data compression minimizes RAM consumption and gives a fast return to application and the 2MB standard memory gives you ample RAM space for processing data. Economy mode cuts toner consumption by 25% or 50% and the intelligent sleep mode cuts power consumption to <13 watts. The printer driver's duplex mode and the "2 in 1" and "4 in 1" Windows printing modes cut paper consumption even further. The simple two-part toner and drum system ensures full consumable life and effective cost control.
