G15 Rev. 002 Pros: -Silent Keystrokes -Backlit -6 function keys with three groups (M1,M2. OldGamer The keyboard works fine, but as for playing games my old one did just as well. Extra Features Mostly Useless So, on the positive side, the G15 has pretty much all the functionality that you would expect from a keyboard.

As a programmer, I like to keep my environment the same as much as possible. overall this is the best keyboard ever has a great feel. The backlit keys are great, and can be turned off. The keys have a nice soft touch to them, just the right amount of spring action.

Introduction
Use this guide to get your BT Business Hub set up and connected to your Teleworker service. If you have any problems with your installation, contact your Corporate Administrator for further assistance.
Setting up your Business Hub
1) Plug a microfilter in between the wall socket and each device that shares the telephone line. This applies not just to telephones but can also include fax machines, burglar alarms, and any digital satellite equipment. You should have received two boxed microfilters with your BT Business Hub.
Your Starter Pack contains:
State No broadband service connected. Broadband service connected. Attempting to connect to broadband service. Connection to broadband failed. Recheck username and password. State No device connected. Device connected. Device sending / receiving data.
Internet Access Control Use Internet Access Control to change the times that you wish to allow different users access to the Internet. You can specify what times and days for access by different types of activity, such as browsing and Instant Messaging. Content Screening Use Content Screening to limit the kind of content that users can browse. You can assign each user to one of two groups, each offering different content filters.

2) Plug the Power Adapter into the back of your BT Business Hub (socket marked Power), then plug the other end of the Adapter into the nearest mains power socket. 3) Plug one end of the grey broadband cable into the DSL socket on the back of the BT Business Hub and plug the other end into the microfilter (attached to your phone line in step 1). The microfilter socket is also marked DSL. 4) Ensure that the power is switched on and monitor the lights on the front of the BT Business Hub. Note: you can choose to place the Hub flat on a desk, or attach the stand so that it can stand on its side, taking up less desk space. 5) Wait till the power light stops flashing and turns green. The broadband status light will flash. Wait until it stops flashing before proceeding. If the broadband light doesnt stop flashing, read the troubleshooting section found at the end of this guide before continuing. See the troubleshooting section for more information about the status lights. 6) You can now connect your computer to the BT Business Hub. You connect using one of three methods. Ethernet, Wireless or USB, each of these connection types is addressed separately in the next section. 1

Before you start:

Has your service been activated? Dont follow these instructions until you have received confirmation that your broadband service has been activated. Have you got your broadband username and password to hand? To complete the set up of your BT Business Hub you will need the broadband username and password. Have you uninstalled any previous hardware devices? If you already have a USB broadband modem installed on your computer it must be uninstalled before continuing. Where is the installation CD? The BT Business Hub does not require an installation CD, just follow the instructions in this guide. USB Support Although the BT Business Hub supports USB, you may need to download USB drivers in order for this type of connection to work. Download drivers at http://www.btteleworker.com/

Internet light flashes / turns red If the Internet light flashes then turns red, this indicates that your broadband service has been detected, but you are not able to connect to it. The most common reason for this is incorrect username or password information. You can retype these by clicking on Broadband Link and Advanced Settings.

Troubleshooting

You can find extensive online help on the BT Business Hub control screen by clicking Help on the grey menu.
Broadband light flashes: Check your microfilters - there should be a microfilter on each telephone extension on which a telephone device is used. Make sure that you dont use two microfilters on the same extension. If you are using a telephone extension cable, try connecting your BT Business Hub directly on the master telephone socket. Telephone extensions are a common cause of connection problems, it is advisable that you use the wireless networking rather than a telephone extension cable, if you are unable to place your computer close to your master telephone socket. 4

The BT Business Hub

Introduction
The BT Business Hub allows you to create a network with your computers and peripheral devices. Here are just a few of the benefits of using the BT Business Hub to network your office. High-performance integrated modem. The BT Business Hubs technology is optimised to improve ADSL performance. It also minimises common interference found when other devices (such as dimmer switches or fluorescent lighting) are in contact with the ADSL line. High-performance router. The BT Business Hubs router provides the fastest data transfer speeds available between your network and the internet. The highperformance router distributes data seamlessly to all of the computers on your network, without a dramatic loss of performance or speed. Professional-grade firewall. The BT Business Hub firewall includes both standard NAT/PAT security and Stateful Packet Inspection to defend against Denial of Service Internet attacks. Flexible networking. The BT Business Hub includes a variety of networking technologies in one box: Ethernet, direct USB and wireless. Use any or all of the following technologies to create a network with your computers and peripherals. Firewall Monitor. The BT Business Hub Firewall Monitor enhanced service extends the professional-grade firewall capabilities of your BT Business Hub by continuously assessing threats to your network. Firewall Monitor allows you to: automatically download updates to your firewall software to help protect against new threats receive on-screen notification to alert you of network attacks review details about attacks blocked and the source of the attacks Internet Access Controls. The BT Business Hub Access Controls offers two features that help network administrators maintain control over what the PCs on the network can access on the internet, and how often: Content Screening and Internet Access Controls. Content Screening allows you to help protect your network from web sites with unsuitable content. You control what sites or types of sites can and cannot be accessed. Internet Access Control allows you to: decide when your devices can access the internet; and restrict internet access by day of week and time of day.
Networking Technology Overview
Ethernet. Ethernet is a local area network (LAN) technology that transmits information between computers at speeds of 10 or 100Mbps. The BT Business Hub has 4 Ethernet ports for directly connecting computers or devices. If your office is wired for Ethernet, you can use the Ethernet interface(s) on the hub to create a broadband network. USB. The BT Business Hubs USB 1.1 port allows you to directly connect a computer or other network-ready device. Wireless. The BT Business Hub includes an integrated wireless access point, which allows users to roam wirelessly throughout the home or office. BT Business Hub's wireless technology virtually eliminates wireless 'coldspots' in the home. In addition, the BT Business Hub employs a special triple antenna design. The third antenna is used only for transmitting packets, thus mitigating the power loss associated with switching the antenna use back and forth between transmit and receive. This results in greater access point sensitivity, as antenna placement can be better optimised with a dedicated set of receiveonly antennas.
