Bulk Rename Utility

Installation Notes If you have a previous of Bulk Rename Utility installed on your system, which is earlier than version 2.3.0.0, then you should uninstall it before continuing. Future versions will be upgraded automatically. If you do not wish to install the software, but instead want to run the utility as a "standalone" executable, then you should cancel this installation and instead download the "No Install" version from the Bulk Rename Utility website. This application is installed and uninstalled using the Tarma Installer utility. This is a very lightweight but highly functional installer, and which more than satisfies the requirements of my software. In addition, their technical support is fabulous!
Overview This utility was written for my own use, as I couldnt find anything on the Internet that would do the job I needed. Many of the renamers out there would handle files, and many would handle folders, but nothing seemed to do both. In addition, very few of the utilities offered flexible renaming options. This utility has been developed using Visual C++ with MFC technology. It is a true 32-bit application, designed for 32-bit versions of Microsoft Windows. The application will only run on 32-bit operating systems (Windows 98SE through Windows XP and Windows 2003). It will not run on Windows 3.x or Windows 95sorry. Also, the MFC version means that it will probably not run on Windows 98 first-edition
Support Full support information is contained within the help file. This can be viewed either from within the application or from the Start menu.
