Great scanning software which allows you to s...  Great software. Great printing quality Hardware is fragile. Great scanning software which allows you to scan a document page by page and then save under it in a single file. Great software.

I am a small business owner and an HP man to the heart. I was looking for an ink jet all-in-one that had individual ink cartridges for each color. With the price of ink, a full set of cartridges already goes at $50, I replaced the broken printer with a refurb.

And seemed cheaply made. The Canon on the other hand seemed a lot more substantial when I looked at it in an office store. For an all in one printer, scanner, copier, fax machine, this is great machine. The printer is reliable and produces a good quality print.

The Canon PIXMA® MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer had such great potential. It does have a rather large footprint. After previously having the old HP cheap all-in-one, the Canon MP530 works like a dream. Prints clearly and quickly. I bought this device to replace a Brother HL-1040, for two reasons: I was buying a home and I knew I would be doing a lot of scanning and faxing.

Adequate print performance - though not as wonderful as the CNet review indicates - but an absolutely insatiable guzzler of ink. used now for 2 years..no problems..very happy with photo print quality. this is third Canon printer,all have been reliable easy to use.

Tremendously easy to set up, but my fvorite part is batch scanning, and then having them converted to email attachments, or saved to PC as a PDF file. I find the machine to be easy to use, not difficult to setup, in fact it was quite easy. The ink is an issue, as it is with all Canon printers.

To run in Mac classic mode, Mac user will have to install the LaserWriter 8 print driver and activate AppleTalk. Best printer I ever owned. Quality prints, scan, copier and fax Inks run dry fast Had an MP790 which completely broke down exactly after one year (shorted main board) so replaced it with MP530.

I have gone through 1 package of printer pape...  I am having a hard time thinking of something good to say.... Requires all 5 ink cartriges to be full - can...  Nice print quality.

Great printing - lousy cartridges Excellent print quality and quite fast. However. Printer problems I like canon very much .. until I bought this printer. The printing is fine.
