| Easy to use, great quality scans. Simple installation. build quality, design, Easy Installation/Good Instructions, easy to use, print quality. I have had no problems with this scanner. Its easy to set us, use and especially E mail documents. I like the quality on the photo scans I have done. The 8800F does a good job of scanning photos, slides and negatives. For scanning photos, it seems fairly fast. For slides and negatives. | |

| For scanning photos and negatives, this is a great scanner - it has great quality, very fast scans, and almost no startup time, as it uses white LED. The scanner worked better than I expected. Be sure to download the latest drivers from the Canon website. | |

| I was looking for a scanner that could scan film negatives on a budget, and considered serveral alternatives. The Canoscan 8800f actually exceeded my expectations. This is no small feat considering all the electronic junk being pushed out there. | |
