Step 1 - installation Latch Side Cover
Remove the two 4.5mm (.18in) long black screws from the side cover using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.
Step 2
Use your finger tips to pull and remove the cover from the bottom.

Step 3 - Front Cover
Remove the two 5.6mm (.22in) long black screws from the front plate of the camera using a #00 Phillips screwdriver. Then remove the two 4.5mm screws that hold the front plate edge on the bottom of the camera.
Step 4
Use you fingers to remove the face plate.

Step 5 - installation Back Cover Latch
Open the back cover by pushing the latch upwards with your finger.
Step 6
Use a pair of tweezers to unhook the spring from the back cover latch. Use the tweezers to remove the back cover latch as well. The spring will pop off the latch but remain attached to the camera during removal.

Step 7 - installation Grip
Remove the two 4.5mm (.18in) long black screws from the camera grip using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.
Step 8
Use your fingertip to pry off the external shutter port cover.
Step 9
Remove the two 5mm (.20in) long silver screws securing the grip to the camera using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 10
Use the spudger tool to carefully pry the grip from the rest of the camera.
Step 11
Once the grip is loose, use your fingers to remove it from the camera.

Step 12 - Exterior Eyepiece
Grasp the eyepiece with your fingers and slide upwards to remove it.
Step 13 - installation Top Panel
Remove the two 4.4mm (.18in) long black screws from the top plate near the eyepiece using a #00 Phillips screwdriver. Remove the 4.4mm (.18in) long black screw from the top plate next to the LCD also using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

Step 14
Carefully lift the top plate upwards and towards the front of the camera to remove it. The top plate is attached to several wires and electrical ribbons. You must be very careful when removing it from the camera frame in order to maintain these connections.
Step 15 - LCD
Use your fingers to remove the button (in the teal box). Remove the 3.2mm (.13in) silver screw directly above the LCD using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.
Step 16
Use a pair of tweezers to lift the copper tab upwards until it is no longer in contact with the LCD. You do not need to remove it completely.

Step 17
While holding the copper tab off of the LCD with your fingers, use a pair of tweezers to lift and remove the LCD. The is a notch on the left of the LCD that allows you enough space to remove the LCD easily.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Step 1 - Latch Side Cover
Remove the two 4.5mm (.18in) long black screws from the side cover using a #00 Phillips screwdriver.
Step 2
Use your finger tips to pull and remove the cover from the bottom.
