The camera worked well and was a pleasure to use. The camera failed in 2 yrs- $100 to repair is too much. Easy to use, good quality pictures Red eyes w/ flash, scratches easily, heavy, broke after a yr

My digital camera is approximately 2 years old, but a few days ago I came home from vacation. The a-70 has great picture quality, ease of use, and has a fair amount of manual settings. Onboard Digic chip is a plus.

Lots of features, easy to use Time delay using the auto flash smaller and lighter than the A40- new function buttons easier to use- powerful must also buy a case. I have had this camera for a year or so now and have found it to be very versatile and easy to use. Easy to use.

A very impressive PowerShot-the A70 has full manual controls, a nice selection of scene modes and a design that echoes later A series (eg. I bought my A70 in September 2003 - it was my first digital camera (previous film cameras include Canon EF SLR and Olympus u-ZOOM).

That was my first digital camera. I had chosen this model because I wanted to have a real manual mode.
