I use a 58mm 500D lens a lot to take pictures of insects. This is a good camera and But it cant use rechargeable batteries..So i have to keep using replaceable ones gets expensive.

S5 Used it for a year dropped it and flash is not working now otherwise camera is working. Now got SX1 far better than this one. The best digital camera I have ever had. This is an outstanding camera. It is so easy to use. The picture quality is excellent. Great Little Camera! This camera is great.

This is a good camera and But it cant use rec...  good pictures manual flip flash i dont know why people are giving this camera such bad ratings it seems like your expecting pro quality from a 500 dollar camera.

Finally we have the update everyone had expected at PMA, the new PowerShot S5 IS digital camera. The S5 IS features an eight megapixel 1/2.5" (5. VGA. I had thought that Canon would like the G7, as at 1024 * 768 with S5 IS, but to mark time.

This is a amazing camera. There is no lacking of features and quality of photo. Very handy. Pros: Hot Shoe for EX flash unit (GET ONE!!!
