I use this for everyday as well as freelance weddings and I find it much better then the previous. Great recycle time. "Lightweight","Quiet". flash works great. But..there seems to be a defect in the clamping mechanism.

Canon Speedlite 580EX II Hot-shoe clip-on flash his is the premier Speedlite for all photographers, including professionals. Did it too tightly. The Canon speedlight eliminates that. The flash worked right out of the box and my digital Christmas pictures turned out great.

The Canon Speedlite 580EX II is a superb flash geared towards professionals, yet it would be perfect for any amateur that wants great photos also.

happy customer i received my package early which was wonderful cause later that evening i was able to us my flash for this gorgeous picture i toke i ... Very Addictive Speedlite Bought one of these about 3 years ago when my wife and I had just upgraded from point and click into DSLR photography.
