For installation of billet grilles that require cutting of the stock shell, proper tools, knowledge and skill are needed. Carriage Works is not responsible for care & accuracy of the installation, only for Fit & Finish of its products. Use a qualified installer or contact original vendor for references to complete all instructions.

Hardware

6 - Self tapping Screws
STEP 1 Remove the grille shell by removing (3)7mm screws for across the top of the grille shell.
STEP 2 Remove (1)-7mm screw from the bottom of the grille shell between the bumper and bottom bar of grille shell as shown above.
STEP 3 Remove the (2)-screws holding the parking lights in place on each side and remove the park light assembly.
STEP 4 Remove the (2)-7mm screws on each side at the back of the parking light housing as shown above.
NOTE: PLEASE REFERENCE PICTURE IN STEP 8 BEFORE YOU START CUTTING YOUR GRILLE SHELL.
STEP 5 Place the grille shell on a protective surface and cut the center vertical bar on the bottom sections as shown above. DO NOT remove the entire mounting tab or bottom bar. Only the highlighted areas.

STEP 6

Next you will remove all horizontal & vertical bars above and below the center chrome strip. Leaving the outside perimeter intact. Do not remove any part of outside perimeter of the stock shell. (REF. Step 8)
STEP 7 Cut the ends at an angle as shown. Then sand cut areas smooth using a file or sand paper. Making sure not to cut perimeter of grille shell.
STEP 8 After cutting and sanding smooth, the grille shell should look as shown to install the Billet Grille.

STEP 9

Center Billet Grille and mark center locations of rods and drill 1/8" hole. Use self tapping screws supplied and attach Billet Grille to factory shell. Re-attach grille shell to vehicle. Installation is complete.
NOTE: Please adjust horizontal blades if irregular. This is the result of shipping and handling outside of Carriage Works control. Also Carriage Works Inc. recommends applying a high quality automotive wax to maintain the original appearance.
