Flatbed Printing - Straight Paper Path
The straight paper path feeds the media through the printer without bending, thus reducing the risk of paper jamming. This ensures trouble-free printing of multi-copy stationery up to 0.45 mm thick. On the PROdot 350, the printer can accept media up to 2 mm total thickness.

Automatic Paper Thickness Selection
The PROdot 350 will automatically adjust the height of the printhead for optimum printing on different thickness of paper up to 2mm. It can even be configured to print on media of differing thicknesses by checking the paper thickness as it prints. The PROdot 300 has a manual gap adjustment located on the front of the printer for easy adjustment.

Passbook Printing

The PROdot 350 will accept passbooks in the vertical print mode and automatically adjust the printhead height for the top and bottom sections of the passbook to ensure correct and clear printing.

Front Loading

The large front paper table gives support for different types of media when they are being manually inserted in to the printer. The front-load, front-eject function is ideal for printing on envelopes, small forms like cheques or credit forms, prescriptions for doctors surgeries, passbooks or larger forms up to A4.
Automatic Skew Correction and Left Margin Detection
The PROdot 350 will automatically straighten a form that is inserted in to the printer at an angle. Operators do not need to be so careful to ensure correct alignment and the printer will automatically detect the left edge of the page and adjust the left margin where possible. The PROdot 300 has an automatic skew detection feature, which will reject media inserted at an inappropriate angle.
