Citizen Movement Caliber U010 Abbreviated Setting Instructions
FEATURES Analog/Digital Display Digital Display can be hidden from view World Time for 30 cities Time zones can be turned off and on Daily Alarm Chronograph Function Timer Function Digital Day/Date Water Resistant This World Time model is equipped with a "shutter" mode in which the digital display may be dimmed from view. This is activated by pressing the upper left button (M). When the upper left button (M) is pressed and released, the following is displayed starting from the "shutter mode". Zone and finally back to Shutter Mode. IMPORTANT NOTE: After a battery change, or it the perform an ALL RESET. ALL RESET Pull out the crown to the setting position. Press the upper left (M), lower left (B) and lower right (A) buttons at the same time and hold for 1-2 seconds. You will notice the entire display light up. Return the crown to the closed position next to the case. A confirmation beep will sound and the watch will enter the shutter mode (digital displays I and II are hidden). the watch for the proper time and date. TO SET THE ANALOG TIME time. After the time is set, return the crown to its normal position next to the case. TO SET THE DIGITAL TIME Press and release the upper left button (M) until the time mode is displayed. Press the lower left button (B) to display your local time zone. Press and hold the lower left button (B) for approximately two seconds until "SUM" appears in digital display I. Press the lower right button (A) to turn the daylight savings time ON or OFF. Press the lower left button (B) again. The seconds will flash. Press the lower right button (A) to set the seconds to OO or 0. Press the lower left button (B) again. The minutes will flash. Press the lower right button (A) to adjust the minutes. Press the lower left button (B) again. The hours will Be sure to set the correct AM or PM time. Press the lower left button (B) again. The 12hr will flash. Press the lower right button (A) to adjust to 12 or 24-hour display.

Click Here for Full Setting Instructions (124k pdf) TO SET THE ALARM The alarm tone sounds for about 15 seconds at the same time once per day after it has be set and switched to ON. Press the upper left button (M) until the Alarm Mode is shown. Press the lower left button (B) until the city you wish to set the alarm for is shown. Press and hold the lower left button (B) down for approximately 2 seconds or until the hours start to flash. Press the lower right button (A) to set to the desired hour. Press the lower left button (B). The minutes will flash. Press the lower right button (A) to set to the desired minute. Press the upper left button (M) to finalize the setting. TO TURN THE ALARM ON OR OFF When in the Alarm mode, press the lower right button (A). This will cause the alarm to be active or inactive. This will be indicated by an alarm graphic (|||) on digital display II in each mode. TO USE THE CHRONOGRAPH The chronograph is able to measure and display time for up to 23 hours and 99 minutes. If the chronograph is left to run for 24hours, it will automatically stop and reset to 0 when 24 hours is reached. In addition, the chronograph is able to measure split or intermediate elapsed times. Press and release the upper left button (M) until the chronograph mode is shown. Press and release the lower right button (A) to start the chronograph. Press the lower right button (A) to stop the chronograph. Press the lower left button (B) to reset the chronograph to zero. Chronograph Split time measurement. While the chronograph is activated, press the lower left button (B) to display a split time or intermediate time. This split time will show for 10 seconds. Press the lower right button (A) to stop the chronograph. Press the lower left button (B) to reset the chronograph to zero. Press the lower left button (B) again. The city will flash. Press the lower right button (A) to adjust the city to your local time zone. Press the upper left button (M) to finalize the setting process. TO SET THE DATE automatically adjust for other time zones. To set a zone, complete the following 9 steps. 1: Press the upper left button (M) until the Zone mode is shown (time and city are shown). 2: Press and hold the lower left button (B) until the city name and on / off flashes. 3: Press the lower right button (A) to turn the Zone On or Off. 4: Press the lower left button (B). SUM will flash. 5: Press the lower right button (A) to turn daylight savings time off or on. 6: Press the lower left button (B) again to display the next city. 7: Press the lower right button (A) to turn the Zone On or Off. 8) Press the lower left button (B). SUM will flash 9) Press the lower right button (A) to turn daylight savings Repeat steps 6 through 9 until all cities are turned off or on, as you desire. Press the upper left button (M) to finalize the setting.
