WSAT-2 SERIES CHILLERS from 200-1500 KW
The CLIVET chillers WSAT-2 series have air cooled condenser with axial low speed fans. They are equipped with semi-hermetic single screw compressors using R-407c ecological refrigerant agent. The electrical circuitry , the control unit equipped with microprocessor and the LCD display are all integrated under the chiller weatherproof casing. The case is made of galvanised steel and protected by a thermic treated resin, painted in electrostatic field, therefore is included in IP 45 protection class. The WSAT-2 chillers are configurable with 2,3 or 4 independent refrigerant circuits for redundancy. Each circuit is equipped with his compressor, expansion valve, solenoid valve, drying filter with detachable core, closing valve, lubricating device, injection circuit, safety valve and manometers for high and low pressure.

The single screw compressor developed by DAIKIN uses ecological refrigerant agent and, beside the high tecnology level it has a compact, simple and solid construction. Due to the lack of valves and critical reciprocity elements the compressor has an increased resistance at liquids pressure shocks and therefore results a high reliability. Th compressor has a perfect balance between the axial and radial forces due to the symmetrical compression with a single rotor and 2 gears. The internal contact pressure is very low and the gears made of a special composed material determine the decrease of detrition and energy loss. The lubricating pump is unnecessary because the compressor is cooled by the freons circulation. The single screw design (without primers and alternate movements) determines a very low detrition and noise level. The service interventions for oil changing are necessary only after 40.000 hours of continuous operation.
