General 2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G Network HSDPA 900 / 2100 HSDPA 850 / 1900 - American version Announced 2009. I purchased this phone shortly after it came out. I cam currently with Sprint and wanted to get something close to the iphone. Size dimensions of P3400 be calculated. bold touches are almost 2 cm. Weight also feels a bit heavy with the size of 126 grams.

Stay as far away from this phone as you can. ...  Got it for free in a "2 for 1 deal Terrible as a phone and as a PDA. Stay as far away from this phone as you can. I got it for "free" in a 2-for-1 deal, but feel like I have a 3 year prison sentence as a result.

Seems like all the new smartphones have their of share of defects. I have a HTC touch. The first one had Windows Mobile 6.1 installed. What kind of research was done for this article? First of all, the pictures are all of the HTC Touch DIAMOND.

I bought the Touch about three months ago for the Bell network. A quick summary of the problems are that the volume out of the ear piece is horrific.

Tried it on MyTouch 3g.... I bought this for my T-Mobile MyTouch 3g running Android 1.6. The audio output on this adapter does not work. Indispensible "Accessory" for G1 Owners I can now connect the G1 to my sound system and stream Pandora or Last. I thought HTC products would always work I selected to buy this product with the HTC logo since I thought it would work as advertized.

Love this phone--fast processor, great ROM/RAM, very sleek & lightweight. However, like other HTC devices. As an upgrade from the Palm Treo 700wx I must say this phone is quite an improvement for me. Very compact and comfortable cell phone with long battery life and good working EDGE. PDA functions are good.

It constantly freeze up. T-mo exchanged my phone twice and all three of them had the same problem. I am happy with the phone. Hope they come up with a solution to the short battery life. Display is great! The apps are terrific and the ease of use.

When my husband and I purchased these phones we were told it was capable of texting images and video. I purchased this phone earlier this year and within a week I had to do several resets. The phone would freeze up on me constantly.

Light/Max Range

To Illuminate Display Press and release the Light/Max Range button to illuminate the display for 10 seconds.
Auto Squelch/Maximum Range Your microTALK radio is equipped with Auto Squelch, which automatically shuts off weak transmissions and unwanted noise due to terrain and conditions. This slightly reduces the Maximum Range at which signals can be heard. You can turn off auto squelch to allow all signals to be received and extend the maximum range of your radio. Light/Max Range To briefly turn off auto squelch: Press the Light/Max Range button for less than five (5) seconds. If you hear two (2) beeps, you have turned the maximum range extender on (see below). To turn maximum range extender on: Press and hold the Light/Max Range button for at least five (5) seconds until you hear two (2) beeps which indicates the maximum range extender is on. To turn maximum range extender off: Press and release the Light/Max Range button or change channels. Lock Feature The Lock feature locks the Channel, Mode, HiLow and Power buttons to prevent accidental operation. To turn the lock feature on or off: Lock/Enter Button Press and hold the Lock/Enter button for two (2) seconds. A double beep sound is used to confirm your lock on or off request. When in Lock mode, Lock Mode the Lock icon will be displayed.
Speaker/Microphone/Charge Jack Your microTALK radio can be fitted with an external Speaker/Microphone, freeing your hands for other tasks. This same jack also serves as the connecting point for the wall charger/adapter. Speaker/Microphone/ To attach a speaker/microphone: Charge Jack 1. Open the speaker/microphone/charge tab on top of your microTALK radio. 2. Insert the plug into the speaker/ microphone/charge jack. (See page 5 for power output settings while using speaker/ microphones.) To connect a wall charger/adapter: 1. Open the speaker/microphone/charge tab on top of your microTALK radio. 2. Insert the wall charger/adapter plug into the speaker/microphone/charge jack. Signal Strength Meter Signal Strength Your microTALK radio has a Signal Strength Meter that shows the strength of your incoming and outgoing transmissions. The ascending bars next to the signal strength indicate the strength of the signal. The greater the number of bars visible, the stronger the signal. The fewer number of bars visible, the weaker the signal. microTALK Range Your range will vary depending on terrain and conditions. In flat, open country your radio will Maximum Range operate at maximum range. Buildings and foliage in the path of the signal can reduce the range of the radio. Dense foliage and hilly terrain will Reduced Range further reduce the range of the radio. On FRS channels 8 through 14, your radio automatically switches to low power, which will limit the range the radio can communicate.

Reduced Range

Remember, you can achieve maximum range by using maximum range extender. See page 6 for details.

Mode Functions

Scrolling through Mode Functions By scrolling through the Mode Functions, you will be able to select or turn on/off preferred features of your microTALK radio. When scrolling through the Mode Functions, your radio features will be displayed in the following order: Set CTCSS Privacy Codes Mode Button Set DCS Privacy Codes Set NOAA All Hazards Radio Channel Set VOX On/Off Set VOX Sensitivity Level Set Memory Locations Set Channel Scan Set CTCSS Privacy Code Scan Set DCS Privacy Code Scan Set Memory Location Scan Set VibrAlert and/or Call Alert Set Call Alert Tone Signal Set Roger Beep On/Off Set Keystroke Tones On/Off Scroll through the mode functions using the Mode button. Each press and release of the Mode button will advance to the next mode function. Press the Talk button at any point to return the radio to Standby mode. Privacy Codes Your microTALK radio incorporates two (2) advanced coded squelch systems that can help to reduce interference from other users on any given channel. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System) provides 38 privacy codes and DCS (Digitally Coded Squelch) provides 83 privacy codes. This provides a total of 121 Privacy Codes. Either system can be used on all channels, but both systems cannot be used on the same channel at the same time. To successfully communicate using a privacy code, both the sending and receiving radios must be tuned to the same channel and to the same privacy code system (CTCSS or DCS) and privacy code number. Each channel will remember the last privacy code system and number you select. The privacy code 00 is not a privacy code, but allows all signals to be heard on a channel that is set to 00 on both the CTCSS and DCS systems.
