Lake Zurich, Illinois May 21, 2008 Resulting from the continued synergy between Product Development Technologies, Inc. (PDT), a division of TZ Limited (ASX: TZL), and Cobra Electronics (NASDAQ: COBR), the 2008 lineup of radar detectors solidify Cobras commitment to design leadership. The radar family designed by PDT for the 2008 model year was a design exercise that involved the celebration of the successful design history that Cobra has enjoyed for over a decade. Utilizing upfront end user and market research tactics, the PDT team created a bold, yet appropriate visual design language for the targeted demographic. Together with the involvement of our talented UI team, PDT created a balanced design that gives the user an abundance of features without the complexity. The creation of appropriate graphics and animations make the interface easy to follow as well as entertaining. Significant additions to the lineup include improved user interaction via the addition of color OLED modules, strategic color/material/finish specification and visual design cues signifying Cobras tiered branding segmentation. The design team fused styling cues from current automotive trends and cues from past generations into the radar detector designs. In total, the 2008 line of radar detectors consist of eight models the XRS 9340, XRS 9440, XRS 9540, XRS 9640, XRS 9740, XRS 9840, XRS 9940 and XRS 9950 in three pricing tiers.
