Description

The MM 623 is a versatile, high quality mixer designed with the professional in mind. Offering six microphone inputs, two selectable stereo inputs, and such features as bus assignment, phantom power, remote master, Left, Right, and Aux outputs, this compact unit is perfectly suited to modern diverse applications. All inputs and outputs are electronically balanced. Equalization is performed by an active, four-band, fixed frequency stereo EQ. There are three five-segment LED meters monitoring each of the main outputs. Each of the microphone inputs has switchable phantom power and a 20 dB pad for line level signals. Channel one has a variable threshold for ducking all other inputs. The unit offers remote select of the two stereo inputs. The unit can also be set as master or slave and all audio and control buses are linkable. All connections are offered on pluggable Euro connectors. The MM 623 offers a multitude of features in one EIA rack space.

Architects & Engineers Specifications: The mixer shall have six electronically balanced microphone or line inputs. The mixer shall also have two stereo unbalanced line inputs. All inputs shall be routable to any or all of three master buses, Left, Right and Aux. Each microphone input shall include selectable 48 Volt phantom power. Channel one shall have a variable mute threshold over all other channels. Each input shall have a Signal/Clip indicator that activates green at -20 dB, and
turns red at 2 dB below clipping. The mixer shall have three electronically balanced outputs, Left, Right and Aux, each with its own master output control and five LED meter array. The mixer shall have remote master capability for each of the master L,R buses. There shall be remote select for the two stereo inputs, rear panel global 100 Hz low cut filter for the mic inputs, master/slave link mode switch, and audio bus linking. The mixer shall have a shelving low EQ with 15 dB boost or cut starting at
70 Hz, a peak/dip low mid EQ with 15 dB boost or cut at 250 Hz. The unit shall be housed in a rugged metal chassis 1.75 tall by 19 wide by 8.75 deep. Architects & Engineers Specifications: The automatic microphone mixer shall have four electronically balanced, low noise microphone/line inputs. Each input shall have its own gain control. Input 1 and 2 shall each have the patented Priority Control Circuitry with a priority assign and individual front panel mute controls. Each channel shall have individual line level inserts with enable/bypass switch. Forty-eight Volt phantom power shall be available on all channels and be switched on inputs 1 and 2. A security cover is
included, protecting the main controls on the front panel with marking zones for each input. The master section shall be equipped with gain management computer logic for seamless operation. There shall be a balanced mic or line master output with switch. In addition, there is a master, unbalanced auxiliary output. There is a master/ slave linking connection and switch on the back panel for connection to additional AM-411 units, and also the AM-811 as well as the MM 623 mixer. All audio connections shall be made with removable euro
type connectors. The mixer shall have a frequency response of 75 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 1 dB.
