D-Links DES-3326SRM is a high-performance, managed stackable Layer 3 Switch that provides an ideal solution for workgroups and departments. The DES-3326SRM has (24) 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet ports with support for optional GBIC modules for fast connection speeds and flexibility. The DES-3326SRM supports stacking of up to 13 units per stack. A single stack of DES-3326SRM can support up to (338) 10/100Mbps ports with an additional GBIC slots available for trunking. The entire stack can be managed via a single IP address for simplified network administration. For standalone applications, the integrated modular stacking system can be removed and replaced by optional gigabit fiber or copper modular uplinks.

Advanced Security

The DES-3326SRM is equipped to handle many of todays emerging security vulnerabilities. It provides Access Control List (ACL) to set up access restrictions. 802.1x authentication is also available to be used to verify the identify of the user. Other access rules can also be set up to prevent network, and 802.1x authentication login. In addition, traffic segmentation and port based security can also be set up to protect the integrity of the network.
High-Performance Hardware
Utilizing an 8.8Gbps switch fabric, the DES-3326SRM is a wire-speed, high performance switch, ideal for workgroups or departments. The DES-3326SRM utilizes an integrated 1Gbps stacking mechanism for interconnecting units within a stack and open GBIC slot for support for optional fiber support for hauls up to 10Km away. Fixed-in modules are also available for purchase separately. Fixed-in modules are applicable under standalone configuration only.

Enhanced L3 Routing

The DES-3326SRM is a high performance Layer 3 switch that provides an ideal solution by offering Layer 3 routing under RIPv1/v2 to route traffic between VLANs or subnets. DES-3326SRM is also designed to help ease network congestions by switching multicast traffic with the support for protocols such as DVMRP, PIM-DM, OSPF, IGMP snooping. It also supports multiple IPs per VLAN, IP multi-netting and fragmentation.

The DES-3326SRM supports stacking of up to 8 units per stack. A single stack of DES-3326SRM can support up to (192) 10/ 100Mbps ports with an additional 8 open GBIC slots available for trunking. The entire stack can be managed via a single IP address for simplified network administration. High-Performance, High Availability L3 Switching Utilizing an 8.8Gbps switch fabric and support for 8,000 MAC addresses, the DES-3326SRM is a wirespeed, high performance switch, ideal for workgroups or departments. The DES-3326SRM supports port trunking with up to 8 trunk groups per stack. Port trunking enables business users to increase availability and aggregated bandwidth between servers and/or other switches, optimizing the transport of all of your business critical data. The DES-3326SRM utilizes an integrated 1Gbps stacking mechanism for interconnecting units within a stack and open GBIC slot for support for wide range of GBIC modules.
