D-Link DGS-3200-10 wins Products Edge Best of Show Award at Interop 2007
Japan, 18 June 2007 D-Link Japan Corporation (Tokyo) International introduced the new D-Link compact and secure Gigabit switch DGS-3200-10 during the Interop Tokyo 2007 exhibition, held from June 13 to 15, and won the Best of Show Award for Infrastructure Building Products (Edge) category.
The Interop Best of Show Award is given to product, solution or service that is the best and most suitable for this years theme, The Internet: Solutions to Accelerate Your Business, based on strict examination by experts from the IT industry as well as a vote of visitors. D-Link DGS-3200-10 switch beats Juniper MX960 to the grand prize, including other product nominations for the category such as Cisco XR 12000 SBC, Cisco Catalyst Compact Switch series (3560-8PC-S, 2960-8TC-L, 2960G-8TC-L,29408TT-S), Alaxala AX1200S, Anagran FR-1000 and H3C(3COM) MSR 30-20 & OAP. The DGS-3200-10 is a compact Layer 2 secure Gigabit switch with 8 Gigabit and 2 fiber ports. It executes firm network security and comes built-in with universal threat management (UTM) firewall functionalities, which secure the internal IT network against external virus from invading the LAN. In addition to standard quarantine features, it also provides proactive network security with D-Links ZoneDefense mechanism. The DGS3200-10 also comes with Microsoft NAP (Network Access protection) and other key features such as user identification, 802.1X certification and MAC address certification through web interface.
