I never have any dopping connection problems. I guess I am lucky. Work out of the box I wish there could be more features in the software

Failed! For the first few months worked fine and setup was easy. However after few months, it just died! No warranty - nothing could be done.

Wireless clients can connect to this router to transfer data at speeds of up to 15x faster than previous wireless devices. The DI-784 operates seamlessly and simultaneously in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency spectrums supporting the 802.11b and the newer, faster 802.11g and 802.11a wireless standards. For offices, schools, or public hotspots that already use 802.11b devices, the DI-784 is a great way to expand an existing network and enable even more users to communicate with one another to access data and share an Internet connection. Now you can have a router that will complement and protect your existing network, using newly added features, with the convenience of wireless networking. With the enhancement of D-Link 108AG, the DI-784 can achieve wireless speeds up to 108Mbps in a pure
802.11g or 802.11a environment. The use of new wireless technology such as Packet Bursting, FastFrame, Compression & Encryption, and Turbo mode provides enough bandwidth large enough to handle video/audio streaming and Video on Demand (VoD applications). Network administrators can allocate bandwidth based on user saturation on each frequency band. While some employees will be on the 5GHz frequency band and other employees on the 2.4GHz band, this type of user segmentation optimizes the routers performance and delivers the best network experience for each set of users. Filters on the router can also be set to restrict access based on the specific MAC addresses of wireless laptop or desktop cards on the network, or restrict the access of IP addresses, specific websites, and/or web domain names. All of the routers settings are accessible via any operating system. The Web-based software user interface also features a step-by-step Setup Wizard to get the DI-784 up and running in just a matter of minutes.

Be more efficient with D-Link 108AG Technology. With transfer speeds now reaching up to 108Mbps, work 15x faster than previous wireless devices could achieve. Bandwidth-intensive applications, such as graphics or multimedia, will benefit significantly because large files can now quickly move across the network. With its versatile support for both the 802.11g and 802.11a standard, the DI-784 offers increased wireless services without signal interference. The Cable Diagonostics utility allows you to check the status of connected Ethernet cables through the DI-784s Web-interface. Test a cables connection, locate a problem along the cables distance, and detect short/open cable pairs. The DI-784 is fully compatible with 802.11g and 802.11a standards and is also backwards compatible with the 802.11b standard; meaning any 802.11b-compliant PCI, USB, and cardbus adapters can connect to the network. With the DI-784, you can securely connect wireless clients to the network using 802.1x user authentication, through the use of WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), providing you a much higher level of security for your data. Through its easy-to-use Web-based user interface, the DI-784 lets you control what information is accessible to those on the wireless network, whether from the Internet or from your companys server: Content Filtering Easily applied content filtering based on MAC Address, IP Address, URL, and /or Domain Name. Filter Scheduling Filters can be scheduled to be active on certain days or for a duration of certain hours or minutes. Network Address Translation NAT protects the DI-784 and its users from outside intruders gaining access to your private network. VPN Multiple/Concurrent Sessions Supports multiple and concurrent IPSec and PPTP sessions, so multiple users behind the DI-784 can access corporate networks through various VPN clients more securely.
