X2D communication PROTOCOL Over 5 million products installed!
Developed and patented by Delta Dore over 20 years ago, the X2D language is a communication protocol used for wireless, power line carrier and BUS products.
Energy management systems require a constant exchange of information between the homes different applications. This is why X2D is used for home energy management applications, security and control systems, and is thus at the centre of Delta Dores home automation offer.
As it requires no specific configuration tool, X2D is very easy to install and use. Each installation has its own code (16 million possibilities), which ensures a secure system. Using the same protocol for home applications allows them to be immediately operational and interactive, which gives you considerable latitude to offer your customers many adaptations depending on their needs.

X2D radio technology

Delta Dore has chosen to use the 868 MHz frequency for its heating management and control appliances. One of the advantages of using the 868 MHz bandwidth is that it is regulated and, above all, it is standardized. This means that it cannot be disrupted by other radio emitting electrical appliances (e.g. wireless headset).

X2D Power line carrier technology
This technology uses the existing electrical network and does not require any additional wiring. X2D does not disrupt appliances or the electric power supply because it uses a separate 132.45 KHz bandwidth.

The energy management offer also proposes load-control solutions to limit peaks of energy consumption and their resulting costs. The transmission technologies used and mastered by Delta Dore, such as the 6-order pilot Wire (GIFAM standard), Power Line Carrier (PLC) and radio mean that our solutions can be installed on all types of equipment.

Energy savings

Home automation is the art of combining security functions (such as anti-intruder alarms), control systems (such as lighting controls or roller shutters), and energy management (such as heating or air conditioning programming) in your home. Delta Dores home automation offer, which combines energy management, control systems and security, ensures that the user benefits from increased comfort, but above all from energy savings and a higher level of security. Combining a door/window magnetic contact with your room thermostat or directly with a convector, the heating will automatically turn off when a window is opened and will revert to normal mode as soon as it is closed. Energy waste is avoided. When you leave your home each morning, you wont need to check each room. With one simple step the heating will switch to economy mode. In your workplace or holiday home, you can always control your installation thanks to the telephone remote control.

ELECTRIC HEATING

The built-in thermostats is an electric heating solution. It is particularly well-adapted to integration on the heater (convector or radiator).
Precise temperature regulation
Delta Dore takes great care to ensure that the built-in thermostats perform well. Power circuit boards are systematically adjusted, to maintain high performance. Tests in a bi-climatic room are conducted on each client's heater, thus ensuring high performance is achieved.
