Despite its modest size, the DVD-F100 is packed with the same high quality picture and sound reproduction technologies found in Denons acclaimed full size DVD player models. The DVD-F100s compact size makes it ideal to use where space is at a premium, and it provides both DVD movie and music concert playback, along with CD playback as well. The virtual surround sound feature, when combined with the matching AVR-F100 A/V receiver, provides wraparound surround sound with just two stereo speakers.

Dolby Digital and DTS in a Compact A/V Receiver
The AVR-F100 combines a high performance surround sound decoder block that includes Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, along with a built-in tuner and control section, with a power amplifier section providing 25 watts per channel in a discrete configuration. Pre-amp output connections are provided for the matching POA-F100 three channel power amp, for full 5.1 channel capability. You can enjoy the Virtual Surround without surround speakers.
2-channel Virtual Surround A/V System The AVR-F100 A/V receiver is equipped with the Virtual Surround mode that lets you enjoy the spacious sound effects of Dolby Digital through two stereo speakers when you are not able to install all the speakers required for true 5.1-channel playback.
