Sound Equipment Overview

Main Mix: Soundcraft Series Two 40 Channel - 40 X 8 X 3 w/ 11 X 2 Matrix. Console has 2 Stereo Rails, 4 Stereo Returns, and 8 Aux. Sends. Console is located in control booth and connected via a patchbay to hardwired microphone input boxes located throughout venue. Moving the console to a house mix position would require extensive time and cabling. The theatre does not have a harness or snake on hand to do this relocation. ABOUT BATTERIES: (NB: The following only applies to rentals) The use of all of the above listed equipment is included in a basic theatre rental. Please note however that the Newmarket Theatre DOES NOT provide batteries for wireless equipment to renters. Used batteries may be available for rehearsal purposes, but we strongly suggest that you supply quality (Duracell, Eveready or equivalent) alkaline batteries for use with our wireless transmitters during performances. Due to their reduced life in our equipment, rechargeable batteries SHOULD NOT be used. All of Newmarket Theatres Shure wireless transmitters use 9 Volt batteries.
