Description

Doro MemoryPlus 309dp
This product has six speed dial keys to call stored telephone numbers. The keys are transparent and have space for labels or pictures sized 35 x 40 mm. The telephone numbers are stored with the help of a keypad under a cover on the back of the device. The device runs on the voltage from the telecom network so it does not require any separate source of power. A builtin battery allows stored telephone numbers to be retained in the memory even if the device is disconnected from the telecom network.

Operation

Connection
1. Remove the protective tape so that the battery is activated. 2. Disconnect the existing cord between the telephone and the wall socket and connect MemoryPlus 309dp with the cords supplied.

3. Lift the handset and check that there is a dialling tone.

Making a call

1. Lift the handset. 2. Press the desired speed dial key. MemoryPlus 309dp will now call the telephone number that has been programmed for that speed dial button.

Settings

Storing telephone numbers
1. Lift the handset. Ignore the dialling tone.
2. Remove the cover that conceals the keypad on the underside of MemoryPlus 309dp.
3. Press , then the entire telephone number including the area code that you wish to store, then again. Example:
4. Press down the speed dial key that you want to use for this telephone number.

5. Replace the handset.

Battery
MemoryPlus 309dp has a built-in battery that saves stored telephone numbers for at least 6 months if the device is disconnected from the telecom network. When the device is connected to the telecom network the batterys average lifespan is 3 years.
Before using for the first time
Protective tape prevents the battery from discharging while the device is in its packaging. Remove the protective tape by pulling the flap that protrudes by the battery cover before you connect MemoryPlus 309dp.

Replacing the battery

1. Remove the screw and open the battery cover. 2. Remove the old battery and insert a new 3V lithium battery of the CR2032 type. The batterys positive terminal should be facing upwards (towards the battery cover). 3. Replace the battery cover and the screw. WARNING! Only use 3V lithium batteries of CR2032 type. There is a risk of explosion if other batteries are used. Used batteries should be recycled.

Troubleshooting

Disconnect the device from the telecom network and then connect a functioning telephone to the socket in question and check that there is a dialling tone. Check that the cords for the product are undamaged and correctly connected. If you are still experiencing difficulties, contact the place of purchase.

This product is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. In the unlikely event of a fault occurring during this period, please contact the place of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for any service or support needed during the guarantee period. This guarantee will not apply to a fault caused by an accident or a similar incident or damage, liquid ingress, negligence, abnormal usage, non-maintenance or any other circumstances on the users part. Furthermore, this guarantee will not apply to any fault caused by a thunderstorm or any other voltage fluctuations. As a matter of precaution, we recommend disconnecting the device during a thunderstorm. Batteries are consumables and are not included in any guarantee. This guarantee does not apply if batteries other than DORO original batteries have been used.

Es wird mit dem Strom aus dem Telefonnetz betrieben. Eine eingebaute Batterie sorgt dafr, dass die gespeicherten Telefonnummern erhalten bleiben, auch wenn der Apparat vom Telefonnetz genommen wird.
