DESCRIPTION

We have developed an Akrapovic Evolution complete exhaust system for the most powerful Monster in the range, which beautifully complements this already extremely well-equipped machine. The system is designed for riders who know the value of product quality, a major performance increase and the renown of the Akrapovic brand, and who expect the maximum from their exhaust system. We shouldnt forget to mention the HEXAGONAL muffler, which looks especially good on the RS. PERFORMANCE Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the DUCATI MONSTER S4RS (without muffler insert): Power & Torque: if the RS responds well to the Akrapovic Slip-On system, the Akrapovic Evolution system is a revelation. The boost in performance is massive, as you can see from the power and torque curves, with the increase covering the entire rpm range. The improvement is felt most strongly at the low end, and in keeping with the character of an Evolution system, at the high end and at the top of the range. At 9700 rpm we measured a huge 131.4 HP. Maximum increased power was 9 HP at 8600 rpm. CONFIGURATION The Akrapovic Evolution system for the Ducati is composed of stainless steel header tubes, a conical titanium collector, conical titanium link pipe and a HEXAGONAL muffler. All components are joined with sleeve joints secured with silicon-shielded springs. The HEXAGONAL muffler is composed of a titanium inlet cap and titanium perforated inner sleeve, while the outlet cap is made of carbon fiber. The outer sleeve is available in titanium or carbon fiber. The muffler is attached to the frame using an Akrapovic carbon fiber bracket and an Akrapovic carbon fiber clamp. The system also includes an Akrapovic carbon fiber heat shield and a fitting for attaching the stock lambda sensor.

DUCATI AND DIESEL: A NEW PARTNERSHIP IN MOTOGP Borgo Panigale (Italy), 10 January 2011. An important partnership was signed in the first days of this new year between Diesel and Ducati. The two brands, known and loved all over the world, share common roots: creativity and innovation, typical of the Made in Italy tradition, distinct factors that have enabled both companies to assert themselves and become true Italian icons all over the world.
