| I got this drive to replace a slow 5400 rpm Seagate drive and is amazed at the screaming performance and its quietness. Good choice to have for a laptop, upgraded an old Hitachi Deskstar for this drive, and great difference in speed. | |

| Somewhat Satisfied After two years, this drive finally went South on me. I wish hard drives were not so short lived. I guess two years is not so bad. Garbage item Only used about one month and it was broken. I had to back up data, reinstall OS and exchange the item with WD. | |

| I cloned a 250 GB drive to this one using Seagate Discwizard. Worked perfectly. No problems Quiet, fast, reasonably priced. This thing is a piece of work. I had this for only a little over a year. Incredible difficult to configure. The MioNet web interface is terrible. | |

BY REPLACING THE STANDARD MICROCONTROLLER, THE 4XR MODULE WILL BE CAPABLE OF SENDING DUAL DOOR CENTRAL LOCKING SIGNALS. NB: The passenger door actuators may burn out if a standard CPU is used by accident. To check - ensure the NEG-OUT wire outputs a ground only when the secondary button is pressed.

CYCLOPS REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS
Dear Sir/Madam, During the life of your car security system it may be necessary for the normal operation of the security system.
MAIN BUTTON SECONDARY BUTTON KEYRING
Reprogramming is carried out by the following steps; 1.Disarm the system using either a spare remote or by carrying out the PIN override procedure. 2.Open the drivers side door. This must remain open during procedure. 3.Turn the ignition key from the Accessories (ACC) position to the On (ON) position seven times (count each time the key is in the ON position). 4.Leave the ignition key in the ON position upon the seventh turn. 5.Within two seconds the red LED to turn on, and/or the cars indicators will flash. Immediately press the main button on the new remote control. To acknowledge a code was successfully received, the red LED will extinguish and/or the cars indicators will flash multiple times. The following options are available should you experience any difficulty in reprogramming the remote: 1.View an online video of the procedure at : www.dynamco.com.au/videos 2.View the other side of this page for simple fault finding instructions. 3.Contact one of the technical staff here at Dynamco on (08) 92212345 during Western Australian business hours. REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING TROUBLESHOOTING
This document is provided to help clients diagnose why a system will not accept a new remote control and is written assuming the client has no tools, but does have one working remote control. Please fill in the boxes before phoning for support. DOOR CONNECTION (except P275) It is crucial that the door circuit is connected to the system to allow programming changes. To test the door connection: 1. Close all doors, bonnet and boot. 2. Arm the system with your spare remote control. 3. Wait 40 seconds for trigger delays to expire. 4. Open the driver' door (unlock manually with ignition key if system has central locking). The indicators will flash and/or siren sound (if connected and switched on) if the door circuit is connected. INDICATORS Should the indicators fail to flash, the door circuit may not be connected. ? 1 FLASHNO YES The car will need to be taken to a CYCLOPS service centre for connection. IGNITION CONNECTION The second crucial connection is the ignition switch. To test the ignition connection: 1. Be seated inside car with door shut and system disarmed. 2. Turn ignition switch to ON position. 3. Press remote control as though arming - system will respond only by triggering central locking (if connected). 4. Turn ignition switch back to ACC position. 5. Press remote control as though arming - system will arm and trigger ARMING WHEN central locking. 2 IN ACC POSI ? YES NO If system fails to arm while ignition switch is in the ACC position, the ignition wire is monitoring the Accessory circuit. In this case, turn ignition switch from OFF to ACC 7 times instead of ACC to ON. If all appears correct then ensure: 1. The timing of the switch turns is 0.5sec ACC, 0.5sec ON 2. Ignition systems needs to discharge while key is in ACC position, the can be done by leaving cigarette lighter, blower fan, radio, brake lights etc switched on during the process. INDICATOR CONNECTION Less important are the indicator connections. If missing these connections will not stop an installer from re programming a system, their absence just makes the task more difficult. If the indicators are not connected or the indicator fuse is blown, use the status LED as confirmation that the system has received your command.
