Electrolux dryer tops the charts in Belgium

In its June issue, the Belgian consumer products testing magazine Test Achats has given its top marks best in test and best buy to the AEGElectrolux-branded Lavatherm 59800 condenser tumble dryer with heat pump technology.
The Lavatherm 59800 received three very good marks for the precision of its programs, consistency of the drying result and (of course) for energy consumption. A model from Miele was the only other appliance to get three very good marks. The test results were a win for environmentally friendly tumble driers; second place was taken by a heat pump drier from Blomberg. The magazine says that in the category of condense driers it is no surprise that the AEG-Electrolux Lavatherm 59800 and the Blomberg TFK 1350 S are the best in the test. Though they are expensive when you buy them, they prove their advantages when they are used because of their low energy consumption. This is the reason why they also have received a best buy rating. The test of condenser dryers included models of all major manufacturers of the appliances: Blomberg, Miele Bosch, Siemens, Bauknecht, LG and Whirlpool. In addition, two other models from Electrolux, the Electrolux-branded EDC 5340 and the Zanussibranded ZTE 225 were ranked with good to satisfactory test results.

The report also gave the results of a test of vented tumble driers. Here the AEGElectrolux-branded T 35600, the Electrolux EDE 5335 and the Zanussi ZTB 200 received the grade of good in the final result.
