With the Emmaljunga Toddler Seat you can take your older child along on short walks. The Toddler Seat is assembled onto the seat-unit. The advantage with the Toddler Seat is that you get a narrow and practical stroller which folds compactly despite the fact that it can carry two children. Although it provides more limited space and comfort than one of our twin/sibling strollers. Please ensure that you follow our safety instructions for the Toddler Seat thoroughly to avoid the stroller becoming unbalanced. Emmaljunga's own car seat
Emmaljunga has been manufacturing prams with safety and comfort in mind for over 80 years. It has always been our aim to ensure that our products are both safe and simple to use. Our dedication to producing a complete, functional solution to transporting babies in both cars and prams is the reason that we have now developed our own First Class0+Base car seat.

Optimal lying curve

By adjusting the head protection on the car seat to suit the child's size, the 5-point harness and the child's lying curve are also automatically adjusted. Therefore, when the child is small a relatively flat lying curve (bottom position is high up in the seat) can be achieved. As the child grows bigger, the head protection can be moved further up the seat, which automatically lowers the seat under the bottom, thereby decreasing the centre of gravity and increasing safety.

Simple and easy to use

The development team in Emmaljunga Automotive Safety Division has focussed heavily on the child's safety. Other important factors in the development of the car seat include user friendliness, good quality material choice, comfort and last but not least, creating a strong modern look.
Travel system for the pram
Babies often fall asleep during car journeys. With our travel system the child can be left sleeping undisturbed in the car seat when it is taken in and out of the car, so that baby can wake naturally, happy and rested! Lift the car seat with the sleeping baby out of the car and click it into place with a Travel System Adaptor on an Emmaljunga chassis.

Winter Footmuff

Perfect for cold walks, the Winter Footmuff is lined with warm fleece and includes openings for the 5-point harness, with two separate positions for the shoulder straps. There are also clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Double zippers make it easy for you to take your child in and out of the footmuff. Available in 14 colours (unicolours).
Allround Footmuff Leatherette
For our leatherette prams, there is now a matching exclusive footmuff in a new design. As our leatherette fabrics cannot be washed (only wiped clean with a damp cloth), the soft inner-lining of the leatherette footmuff is removable so that it can be washed separately. It also features openings for the 5-point harness with two separate positions for the shoulder straps. There are also clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Available in 3 leatherette colours.

Minimizer/Seat Pad

To ensure that the 5-point harness is in a suitable position for a smaller child, you can buy a Minimizer/Seat Pad for your pram. It features two separate openings for the 5-point harness shoulder straps so that you can position the straps lower down to ensure that the smaller child can rest comfortably. The seat pad is reversible with a hard wearing material on one side and soft cotton fleece on the other. There are also clips which allow you to attach the Minimizer into the pram so that it will stay securely in place. Why not buy a colourful seat pad for a uni-coloured stroller for a new look. This stylish tailored apron protects your child in the stroller in all weathers and provides extra protection in cold weather if used over the footmuff. An Emmaljunga pram is not a mass produced product. Each pram is manufactured with care in our own modern and environmentally adapted factory in Emmaljunga, Sweden. We are proud of being the oldest yet probably the most modern pram factory in Europe.

Child's safety in focus

Even though the design and appearance of a pram are important factors when a new model is being developed it is always the child's safety that is of primary importance to Emmaljunga. Product development takes place in strict accordance with current safety standards including the European Standard for children's prams, EN 1888, EN1466 and for the car seats, ECE R44/04.

Innovations

Emmaljunga has contributed to several innovations within the field of pram safety. We were one of the first pram manufacturers in the world to introduce the integrated 5-point harness in our pushchairs, which has now been made legislation within the EU. The Hi-Pro head protection and the Newton Hook are also Emmaljunga innovations.
Handcrafted with modern technology
To enable us to maintain control of the quality of our products, almost all of the components of an Emmaljunga pram are made in our factory in Emmaljunga, Sweden. We bend the tubes, make our own wheels and plastic parts and have our own surface treatment facilities. Certain parts of the process are automated, but other stages are still genuinely handcrafted, such as the assembly of our prams.
Working with qualified teams
In addition to our own innovative force and experience, we utilise teams of paediatricians, child psychologists and parents, which together with our technicians and development engineers, contribute to the product development process. Together we make an unbeatable team whose primary task is to create a safe and secure pram for your child.

Tests and checks

Emmaljunga safety tests all prams in accordance with EN 1888. Our factory has its own test facilities where safety tests are carried out in a laboratory environment. All prams are quality checked throughout the whole of the manufacturing process, ensuring that both quality and safety are built into the pram during its production in our Swedish factory. Emmaljunga also has its own test facilities where product and fabric life testing are carried out in a laboratory environment, enabling us to continually improve the durability of our products.

Taking care of your pram

Even though we perform quality and product life tests and only use material of the highest quality, it is still important for you to care for and maintain your pram in order for it to last and work effectively. No pram can remain free from wear and tear, for example, on the wheels and brakes and other moving parts on the chassis. Similarly, no fabric can maintain 100% light fastness if subjected to UV radiation. Follow the care instructions and you will have a lot of pleasure from your pram for a very long time to come!
