Energizer Model CHVC2 AA/AAA Battery Charger Owners Manual Your AA/AAA Battery Charger is designed to charge Energizer Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. Charger Features Include: - Charges 2 or 4 AA NiMH batteries or 2 or 4 AAA size NiMH batteries at a time. - There are two green LEDs on your charger to indicate when batteries are charging. - Reverse Polarity Protection: Protects the charger and batteries against damage from incorrectly installed batteries. CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS For Best Results, Charge Batteries Before The First Use 1. Load the batteries in the chamber as indicated by the polarity symbols (+/ -) marked inside. NOTE: When charging only 2 batteries, place batteries in the two positions to the left or right. Both AA and AAA size batteries can be charged at the same time. 2. Lift the prongs of the AC plug until fully extended. Plug charger into a standard 110-120 volt AC outlet. The green LED will light during charging. - It is normal for batteries to become warm while charging and is no cause for alarm. - Rechargeable batteries naturally lose some power when stored. For optimum performance, charge before each use. 3. Unplug charger when charging is complete. Not charging all the way? - Gently rub battery ends with a clean pencil eraser or cloth to remove any residue - Try completely discharging them and completely charging them again
