Enfocus Instant Barcode allows creative professionals to easily create, read, verify, and fix barcodes directly from within the familiar environment of Adobe Illustrator. It supports the most commonly used barcode systems, including EAN-8, ISSN and ISBN, making it easy to integrate them into a design.
The advanced barcode preflighting capabilities allow the designer to check the number and types of barcodes used in the document. It also verifies the barcode height, the number of colors used and whether it is set to overprint. Instant Barcode generates comprehensive reports in plain text, HTML or XML. Instant Barcode a utomatically ensures the barcode is of good quality; p lacing it on a white rectangle if needed or warning if it isnot properly scaled. As with Enfocus PDF preflighting technology, certain errors can be fixed during verification. The measurement of existing barcodes is simply carried outby the end user swiping the cursor over a barcode. Instant Barcode will then read and display the barcode detail. A user can quickly identify if the correct code has been used.
