Epson brings 20 years of technology to a unique range of high brightness projectors. All 3LCD projectors use a 3-chip, solid-state optical engine to deliver incredibly bright, true-to-life colour, creating an astonishing level of realism. Colour Light Output, the new metric for projector brightness
Epson provides Colour Light Output specification data. Colour Light Output measures a projectors ability to deliver colour, providing users with a simple, accurate and easy way to evaluate projector colour performance.
Brightness (or white light output) measures the total amount of white light projected in lumens on a nine point grid
Colour Light Output uses 3 sets of a nine-point grid to measure the primary colours red, green and blue

Outstanding quality, impressive size
Choose between the 1920 x 1200 pixel EB-Z8000WU or the 1280 x 800 pixel EB-Z8050W. Both models feature Epsons most advanced C2Fine (Crystal Clear Fine) 3LCD inorganic panels with an inorganic alignment layer and vertically aligned liquid crystal. The result is smooth and uniform images with perfect contrast for high image quality.

DCI colour space

Get superb digital cinema colour
When combined with Epson Cinema Filter technology, the Epson EB-Z8000 series colour space even covers the DCI colour standard used in digital cinema, enabling accurate and faithful reproduction of colour content the way film producers originally intended.

Epsons innovative optical technology delivers exceptional picture quality and the projectors auto iris brings out every shade of contrast. In addition, the colour light output of up to 7000 lumens and 5,000:1 contrast ratio gives great greyscale for small print and figures as well as shadows and light. The EB-Z8000 series is versatile. It can be used for digital content from spreadsheets and business applications to CAD graphics, Flash animations, HDTV, HD video and multi-screen presentations. The Epson EB-Z8000 series is easily adaptable for ceiling-mounted or desktop installations in large venues from the corporate boardroom to business conference centres, university lecture halls, special events and exhibitions. Ideal for ceiling mounted installation
The innovative carrying bars are purpose-made for easy installation and locking into place when ceiling mounted. The centred lens facilitates symmetrical positioning and gives you a wide choice of options for rear projection, wide-, middle- or long-throw projection.

Can be installed to project images upward or downward.

More flexible features

For special events or other applications, the projectors can be rotated vertically 90 to project on to floors or ceilings from almost any height, without tilting or distorting the image.

At your control

Every decision, from opening the shutter to adjusting the focus, shifting the lens or zooming in to make details up to six times larger, is in your hands. With one touch of the remote control, you can also prevent unauthorized or accidental changes by locking the setting.

CONNECTING WITH CONTENT

Multimedia connectivity
Your Epson EB-Z8000 series can accept analogue and digital computer signals up to WUXGA. No adapters are required to connect the HDMI and DVI-D interfaces. In addition it can receive digital signals from PC and HD video equipment at the same time. The projection equipment also includes 5 BNC signal connectors for professional video equipment. Network Management

However wide your network, you can see which projectors are available and if they are running efficiently from a single PC with Epson network monitoring and control software. Your Epson EB-Z8000 series can be configured remotely and you can receive instant e-mail alerts on pre-defined critical indicators, such as non-functioning devices or overheating lamps.
Epson EasyMPTM makes light work of managing multi-screen shows or events* Spread your visual across several displays, in panoramic or a large square - invaluable for looking at complex spreadsheets and wide pictures. You can also show up to four different visuals - each running on a different application - and move between them.

No adapters are required to connect the HDMI and DVI-D interfaces and receive digital signals from PC and HD video equipment at the same time.
