The EPSON EMP-51 and EMP-71 are the latest additions to EPSONs ultra-portable range of multimedia projectors. Designed to make a big impact on home entertainment set-ups or to make mobile presenters shine just about anywhere in the world, they may be small and simple to use but they are packed with EPSONs market-leading technologies and features.
Simple but highly effective
Everything about these projectors ensures simple, speedy set-up (automatic tracking, synchronisation and centring) and straight-forward, automatic operation from start to finish. In addition to the control panel on the projector, there are clear onscreen menus and a comprehensive Help function to assist you every step of the way.

Power and flexibility

Weighing in at just 3,1 Kg and with amazingly compact dimensions, these true SVGA (EMP-51) or XGA (EMP-71) projectors can produce rich, sharp images in up to 16,7 million colours at a bright 1000 (EMP-71) or 1200 (EMP-51) ANSI lumens. For home entertainment or professional presenting, these are high-impact solutions for projecting amazing images from PCs, Macs, VCRs, DVDs, camcorders or digital cameras.
Fully-featured remote control
The majority of functions are easily accessible via the remote control, which makes real-time adjustments a breeze. In addition to enlarging or reducing the screen size and zooming in up to four times standard size, the remote allows you to adjust the position of the image on the screen, freeze frame, change volume, mute, or display source or Help Menu. Best of all, it includes pre-programmed effects such as Pointer, Marker or Horizontal Line which can be used to highlight and enhance your presentations.
Projecting the right image
Bright and sharp enough to present in daylight conditions at up to 11m away from the screen, the EMP-51 and EMP-71 feature the latest EPSON DREAM 2 LCD panel technology for increased brightness, Electronic Keystone Correction for maintaining a square image even when projecting at an angle, Telewide Digital Image Scaling for screen size adjustment, and electronic digital zoom for image enlargement.

Designed to look and sound great
The sleek silver design looks and feels like quality, while impressive dimensions are made possible by miniaturised optics and circuit board and smaller 160 W UHE lamp. Whats more, at just 42 dB when operating, these are quiet projectors, although when you need to make a noise, the built-in 1 W speaker is powerful enough to get your message across.
Connectivity and flexibility
The EPSON EMP-51 and EMP-71 have standard PC and video inputs, with automatic source recognition for simple switching between your chosen devices (PC, VCR etc). They are DVD and HDTV compatible, can present in 16:9 Widescreen, and have standard Component Video and HDTV interfaces. They also feature USB mouse ports for added versatility.
