A revolutionary generation of Epson all-in-one cash registers enters the market with the Epson IR-700. At first glance, the new cash register flagship is characterised by its straightforward design. Upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that Epson has succeeded in combining maximum benefit with minimal size. The ergonomic cash register system features convenient use of all functions and options. But not only the sophisticated design distinguishes the Epson IR-700 from its established predecessor IR-320: Intel Celeron M and Pentium M processors ensure high performance at extremely low noise level and power consumption. In addition to the brilliant 12.1 inch SVGA or 15 inch XGA display featuring a touch screen, the increased flexibility of the system via an integrated CompactFlash slot and new wireless LAN and peripheral options facilitate everyday work. The features set standards: the rapid high-performance of the Epson IR-700s Intel Pentium M 1.8 GHz and Intel Celeron M 1.3 GHz processors is reflected neither in the noise level nor power consumption on the contrary. On average, Intel Pentium M processors consume less than a tenth of the energy of a comparable Pentium 4 processor. Based on daily 24-hour cash register operation, this results in annual savings of up to EUR 200! The cash register systems 15-inch TFT touch screen is extremely bright and is also suitable for use in light rooms.
