I bought my D70s in August of 2007 and all I have to say is WOW! Nice camera! The pictures are beautiful and crisp and the image quality is wonderful. This was my first DSLR and i must say that it was a revelation when i got it. It is very easy to use.

Excellent Lens. Really toiled over whether to get this one or the cheaper Tamron equivalent. This eyecup replaced a DK-21 I bought to replace the original on a D-70. The original lasted several years before falling off and getting lost.

Great beginner DSLR This was my first DSLR and learned everything I know now on it. I took it everywhere and practised every technique I could. Just one issue As with all Nikon products, well built, and the quality you would expect from Nikon.

Plaqued with problems. Even with light use, t...  Hey, it takes great pictures When it works Why does this camera have to be such a put do...  Not many not many at all Not the best of quality, bulky and not much better than the original Why does this camera have to be such a put down. I have recently purchased a nikon d40, and that seemed to satisfy my needs for a good camera. Still like it. Nothing has presented itself ...  great pictures, flexible settings, optional lenses small rearview LCD

The lens I should have bought sooner. Fast / accurate auto-focus","Sharp at all focal length","Strong Construction Poor in Low Light Smoothest action of any lens that I have ever owned. Quick focusing and great bokeh. A little heavy to carry and long for some storage gear. Love it; it is now my workhorse lens. If it was lighter, it could be used as a walkabout daily lens too.

This remote is great for tripping the shutter once you know that your camera has stopped shaking after zooming in to your subject with that long lens.

With Linux and hibis they make a perfect team.
Regardless of whether you are looking for simple wooden floorboards, seedlings for the garden or just a complete garage, hagebau offers an extensive product range of more than 300,000 articles to every DIY and gardening enthusiast. Earlier on in the year during the spring, hagebau replaced the previous PoS system in the first branches with the EPSON MR-800 and simultaneously introduced the companys own in-house operating and merchandise information system in order to ensure that sales run smoothly and that data administration was even easier. Since it was established nearly 40 years ago, the hagebau group of companies have become the leading German supplier in the building materials and timber trades and now owns more than 900 locations and approximately 250 businesses. The companys headquarters are located at Soltau, in Lower Saxony. It is from here that more than 470 employees look after merchandise purchasing, the development of marketing concepts, the planning of new operations and providing modern databank solutions. The facility itself comprises various business units marketing their own different ranges. The majority are involved with specialised building materials, where the house builders can find everything that they need to build their own homes. This includes numerous hagebau outlets, garden centres and hagebau centres. Customer satisfaction is the top priority at all of the locations: Professional and personal advice given by qualified personnel are an absolute must for them. The best PoS system that I know! In addition to the greater demands that are placed on the employees, the PoS system must always be able to fulfil the even greater requirements placed on it. This is why the hagebau-group started to replace around 40 old systems with the new MR-800 nationwide during spring of this year. We were very pleased with the previous EPSON NTU950 system, but the new hibis merchandising information system requires increased computer performance, explained Heinz Hving from hagebau data services. Therefore we decided on the EPSON MR-800 system, said Heinz Hving, As we definitely wanted to stay with EPSON. In addition to our good previous experience, we were also persuaded by the reliability and the modular construction of the EPSON MR-800 system. It is the best PoS system that I know, said Heinz Hving. Strong performance combined with individual utilisation The 1.2 GHz Intel Celeron processor used by the EPSON MR-800 is very powerful and ensures perfect data transfers. The large memory (up to 512 Mb) capability also forms the basis for the installation of the superior software. Thanks to the 15 interfaces for peripheral equipment, the internal CD-ROM and disc drives as well as the integrated network card, the EPSON MR-800 can easily be configured to meet individual requirements, for example for use with a touch-screen LCD, a

magnetic card reader or an external printer. One of hagebaus outlets, Swertz in Goch, has been equipped with five new units together with a multistation EPSON TMU950 printer and DM-D210 customer displays. Linux and hibis hagebau took the opportunity to introduce the new Linux operating system and the new merchandise information system called hibis (hagebaus integrated building materials trading information system) that has been developed by hagebau data services simultaneously to the introduction of the EPSON MR-800 system. Both systems run on the EPSON MR unit without any problems and have particularly eased the data administration work. hibis controls the flow of articles, provides information regarding the warehouse capacities, calculates the profit distribution and also displays the articles that are on offer at the present time. Heinz Hving made a special mention of one extra feature: Each register uses its own server, which enables the data to be exchanged with the main server and therefore nightly updates can be carried out. As a result of the straightforward introduction and the proven ability of the EPSON MR-800 to work with both Linux and hibis, hagebau are planning to replace the PoS systems in all of the locations the very near future.
