Kodak Proofing Software

Kodak Proofing Software plays a critical role in creating reliable proofs. The software is easy to use and includes a calibration wizard that enables you to quickly and accurately calibrate your printer for consistency proof-to-proof and proofer-to-proofer. The software also supports industry standards including SWOP, FOGRA, and GRACoL. With advanced color management capabilities, Kodak Proofing Software uses industry standard ICC DeviceLink profiles to simulate a target color space and retain black channel information. Advanced screening and calibration technology allows you to translate color from one output device to another, use built-in spot color libraries, or generate your own user library. Kodak Proofing Software is available in three editionsBasic, Commercial or Packagingto allow a configuration that best fits your proofing needs.

Full workflow connectivity
Kodak Proofing Software connects directly to Kodak Prinergy Workflow Systems, allowing you to achieve color and RIP integrity by using the same RIP engine to create the proof and plate. Kodak Proofing Software also connects to third-party workflows and other prepress applications via hot folders.

Enabled by Kodak Proofing Software, the Kodak Certified Process for Color Confirmation helps reduce errors by checking that the proof was generated according to in-house or industry color standards. It confirms that the correct profile was used and that the proofer was correctly calibrated, providing confidence well beyond checking the
Dependable remote proofing
Kodak Proofing Software allows each proofer to be calibrated to reproduce color in exactly the same manner. This allows proofs to be accurately produced at different times or locations. The Kodak Certified Process for Color Confirmation means that each proof can be measured
against a color standard for verified color consistency from proofer-to-proofer, and site-to-site. Proofers with inline spectrophotometers enable automation of the Certified Process for Color Confirmation and calibration, helping eliminate manual errors at remote sites.
