Eutech Instruments EcoScan DO 6 meter is based on proprietary Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) design and uses a new low cost 12mm diameter galvanic DO probe that is easy to use. This compact meter is ideal for indoor and outdoor applications.
USER CUSTOMISATION The EcoScan DO 6 Dissolved Oxygen meter allows for customisation by the discerning user. Functions include: Auto-off; % saturation; mg/l or ppm mode; temperature compensation; barometric pressure & salinity correction; electrode diagnosis; user reset and restore to factory defaults. % SATURATION OR CONCENTRATION MODE At the push of a button, the meter switches measurement mode from mg/l or ppm to % saturation. PRESSURE AND SALINITY COMPENSATION Barometric pressure and salinity value can be manually input in the meter. The meter automatically takes care of the necessary compensation, thus eliminating the need for cumbersome charts. EASE IN CALIBRATION 100% or 0% saturation calibration is easy at the press of a button. mg/l or ppm calibration can also be performed using a known oxygen concentration solution or reference DO meter. GALVANIC ELECTRODE WITH BUILT-IN TEMPERATURE SENSOR Galvanic cell technology allows instantaneous measurements without waiting for the probe to be polarised as in the case with amperometric electrodes. The rugged galvanic electrode is optimised for stable response and is able to withstand the rigours of portable use. It requires little or no maintenance and has a built-in sensor for automatic temperature compensation. Maintenance is easy with a pre-membraned cap. ELECTRODE DIAGNOSIS Condition of electrode can be viewed through the setup menu, making it easy for user to check on the efficiency of the probe. INNOVATIVE DESIGN The EcoScan DO 6 meter is ergonomically designed for convenient one-hand field operation. The ribbed body ensures firm grip preventing meter from slipping off during operation. A rubber boot is included to protect the meter from damage due to accidental knocks. A sturdy hinge at the back of the boot allows easy bench-top viewing. RUGGED, ALL-WEATHER CARRYING CASE A custom-built rugged carrying case provides compact and convenient storage of meter, electrode, refilling solutions and accessories, helpful for field testing. WARRANTY Eutech Instruments warrants its meter free from manufacturing defects for 3 years and its probes for 6 months.
