It is fast, reliable, good cabin space, handles well and gets good gas mileage. The styling is sporty and practical.

My 2000 ford contour with the 2liter 4 cylinder dohc engine just turned over 270,000 miles. I dont think a Honda Civic or a base model Eclipse could keep up with it.

Overall I love the car, Ford had an excellent design here, but their quality control in manufacturing needed significant improvement.
