Ford/Mercury/Lincoln Band-Mounted Sensor Re-Learn Instructions
The instructions below can be used for the following vehicles: 2008-2010 Ford Crown Victoria 2008 Ford E-150 van 2007-2010 Ford Edge 2005-2008 Ford Escape 2007-2010 Ford Expedition 2006-2010 Ford Explorer and Sport Trac 2007-2008 Ford F-150 2008-2009 Ford F-250 SuperDuty 2008-2009 Ford F-350 SuperDuty 2009-2010 Ford Flex 2008-2009 Ford Focus 2006-2007 Ford Freestar 2008-2009 Ford Fusion 2007-2009 Ford Mustang 2007-2010 Ford Ranger 2008-2010 Ford Taurus 2008-2009 Ford Taurus X 2007-2008 Lincoln Mark LT 2009-2010 Lincoln MKS 2010 Lincoln MKT 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX 2008-2009 Lincoln MKZ 2007-2010 Lincoln Navigator 2008-2010 Lincoln Town Car 2008-2010 Mercury Grand Marquis 2005-2008 Mercury Mariner 2008-2009 Mercury Milan 2006-2007 Mercury Monterey 2006-2010 Mercury Mountaineer 2008-2009 Mercury Sable
1. Make sure all tires are inflated to the vehicles recommended inflation pressures (found in the owners manual on the door placard). 2. Turn the ignition switch to OFF then press and release the brake pedal. 3. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 4. Press and release the brake pedal. 5. Turn the ignition switch back to OFF. 6. Turn the ignition switch from OFF to RUN (engine OFF) 3 times, ending in the RUN position. Do this within 10 seconds. 7. The horn should sound letting you know the vehicle has entered into TPMS relearn mode 8. Place the VT10s antenna on the sidewall of the drivers side front tire 180 degrees from the valve stem. 9. Hold the left button of the VT10 triggering tool for 5-10 seconds. The vehicles horn will sound letting you know the sensor has been learned. 10.Once the horn sounds, move on to the passenger side front tire and repeat the process. Each tire should only take 30 seconds. 11.After the passenger side front tire has been learned, continue on to the passenger side rear tire and finishing with the drivers side rear tire. 12.You may now turn the ignition to OFF. If the horn does not sound, the sensors were learned successfully. If the horn sounds twice, then the process must be repeated because there was a malfunction.
