PLEASE READ COMPLETE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THIS Pro.Fit Legend. All instructions assume a drivers seat vantage point. Caution is advised when removing and reassembling wood or plastic parts of a dash. Applying unnecessary force or pressure may cause a piece to crack or break.
TOOLS REQUIRED: Dash Trim Removal Tool (DM-40-22), #2 Phillips screwdriver, 5/64 drill bit and drill PARTS INCLUDED: Pro.Fit Legend, instructions, two (2) #8 x 1/2 screws. LOCATION: Right of radio STEP 1. Open the compartment door above the two air vents. Insert a dash trim tool behind the lower right corner of the trim bezel, near the 12 Volt power outlet. Pry outward to release a retainer clip. Work the trim tool and your hands around the bezel, pulling outward until the entire bezel is released. Do not disconnect the bezel from the dash. Photo 1. STEP 2. Slide the bezel aside to reveal two (2) bolts right of the radio. Place Legend mount against dash, following contours. Align the Legend between the two (2) radio bolts. Photo 2. STEP 3. Using the Legend as a guide, mark the location of two (2) screw holes. Set Legend aside. Drill two (2) pilot holes at the marked location using a 5/64 drill bit and drill. Align the Legend over the pilot holes, insert two (2) # 8 x 1/2 screws and tighten. STEP 4. Re-assemble the dash in reverse order. completes the installation of your Legend. This
