Flexible In the rear, 2 quick-release levers easily fold down the spring-assisted 60/40 split seat. Or leave the seats upright, and a convenient stowable armrest with beverage holders appears out of nowhere. Up front, the fold-down front-passenger seat on SE and SEL models lets you pass long items all the way up from the trunk.

Heres the scoop on this intriguing package: a black
chrome grille and standard fog lamps seated in color-keyed bezels. And the rubber rides on 17" aluminum wheels with black-painted pockets.

Current owners told us that Fusion + red = one hot combo. So
we went with it. Inside, the I-4 SE Appearance Package takes the standard Charcoal Black cloth interior and adds even more sizzle: Its splashed with red cloth accents, then finished with high-contrast red stitching on the seats, steering wheel and center console. Plus, the radio surround is treated to a unique brushed-aluminum face.

Surrounded Youll find 6 airbags standard: driver and passenger front
airbags, a pair of front-seat side airbags and 2 side-curtain airbags. Fusions Personal Safety System utilizes a network of sensors to deploy the dualstage driver and passenger front airbags in just the right manner, at just the right time. In addition, the Front-Passenger Sensing System can identify if a passenger is present and his/her approximate stature, and then send a signal to activate or deactivate the airbag. Front-seat side airbags offer enhanced chest protection, while the side-curtain airbags inflate to cover the side windows for enhanced head protection for outboard passengers. Ford Fusion rated the full 5 Stars for front-seat side-impact safety in crash tests conducted by the governments National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
