NEW RADOME ANTENNA

The FURUNO MODEL 1731 MARK-3 is a new 4 kW output power radar designed for small fishing boats and pleasure craft. Radar images are presented clearly in 8 gradations on the 7" CRT. The MODEL 1731 MARK-3 gives many useful features: EBL, EVRM, Echo Trails, Guard Zone Alarm, Off-center, Watch mode and Zoom. Automatically controlled receiver tuning and anti-clutter ensures optimum performance, target detection and simplified radar operation. The Guard Zone generates an audio alarm when a target comes within a user-defined area. With use of nav data inputs in NMEA 0183 format, the MODEL 1731 MARK-3 displays the following information: ship's position in L/L or Loran-C TDs, cursor position readout in L/L, ship's heading, speed, course and range/bearing to the targeted waypoint, XTE, EBL readout in true bearing and a Lollipop waypoint mark.
The compact display design allows for a flexible and space-saving installation at your navigation station. The addition of the radar's new highperformance and stylish radome antenna will complement any vessel. For those needing a second display on the flybridge, tower or at another remote location, the compact, waterproof, optional FMD-811 Remote Radar Display is available. The FMD-811 with its high-resolution 8" LCD display fulfills the second station requirement.
