Tiger Woods PGA Tour is a video game developed by EA Sports and published by Electronic Arts for the Nintendo DS handheld platform, back on September 20, 2004, in North America, and September 24, that same year, in Europe. The game is based heavily on the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 title, but was released without the yearly designation, because it was the first title in the long-running franchise made for the DS. Like all games released in the series, Tiger Woods PGA Tour is a golfing simulator, featuring a wide array of professional golfers, including Tiger Woods, as well as lots of famous golf courses from all around the world, and competitions that use them in their events.
