Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Cheat Codes (PC)
Probably the best old-school RPG
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn is the second computer role-playing game in the Baldur's Gate series, which takes place just a few months after the events of Baldur's Gate. It is based on the second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying system but mixes in some elements such as the new monk, sorcerer and barbarian core classes introduced in the third edition. The story is set in the Forgotten Realms, the most popular D&D story setting. Baldur's Gate II, like its predecessor, is played from an isometric perspective. The player controls a party of one to six characters. The player must create the main character from scratch, or import their character from the original Baldur's Gate, whilst the rest must be recruited from within the game world. Players can, by exploiting the game's multi-player function, create more than one character for a party. This does not by any means compromise the integrity of the story, although secondary characters will not talk or interact in the manner of normal NPCs except as far as the rudimentary interaction of combat and spellcasting allow.CodesCheat CodesIn order to activate cheat mode, edit the baldur.ini file by adding the line Debug Mode=1 under the [Program Options] heading and saving the file. Be warned, this procedure involves modifying a game file. It is rather simple but follow the instructions carefully: 1. Open your Baldur's Gate 2 Directory 2. Copy and make a backup of the file ''baldur.ini'' 3. Edit the original file ''baldur.ini'' with notepad 4. In this file you will see a ''[Program Options]'' heading. 5. Enter a new line under the heading and type or copy in ''Debug Mode=1'' 6. Start up the game and while playing press [Ctrl] + [Space] at the same time. This will bring up a console where you can type stuff into. 7. In the console that should now be visible, type ''CLUAConsole:EnableCheatKeys()'' (without the ''''). 8. Now the cheat keys should work properly. And you can enter other commands such as ''CLUAConsole:SetCurrentXP(''xxxx'')'' where xxxx is the amount of experience you wish to give the current selected characters. And also a handy one is ''CLUAConsole:AddGold('''')''. I'm not sure if you need the '''' inside the brackets after AddGold (but just try it with and without and one of them should work. If you make a mistake, restore the backup version of your baldur.ini file and it will all be better again) Ctrl-Q - Ads the creature, the cursor is over to your party. Ctrl+T - Advance the time by 1 hour CLUAConsole:CreateCreature(''wmart1'') - Bonus Merchant #1 CLUAConsole:CreateCreature(''wmart2'') - Bonus Merchant #2 CTRL+F - Change Selected Characters Facing Direction CTRL+U(HOLD), then I - Character Conversations Ctrl-4(5?) Displays some traps and related things in blue. Haven't quite figured it out. Ctrl-M - Displays the item code names for the items the selected character has equipped. Example: quick01-SW2Hxxx(xxxbeing a number) if you have a 2 handed sword equipped in quick weapon slot 1. CTRL+G - Find out Area Number CTRL+D - Framerate Info Ctrl + Shift + 8 Get all 18 for Stats Ctrl-R - Heals selected character/s Ctrl-Y - Kills any creature the mouse

is on. Note that doing this on bosses may stop the game from advancing. CTRL+X - Mouse Position CTRL+A - Play a Combat Sequence CTRL+L - Play an animation Ctrl-K Removes selected character from party. You can remove the main character and he will never come back. Ctrl-J - Selected characters to cursor position (or nearest place if cursor location is not accessible) CTRL+S - Set A Combat Sequence CTRL+I - Set An Animation CTRL+B - Set Character Speed Ctrl-C - Shows a short movie clip of a circus. Press Ctrl-C to stop it. Ctrl-6 or 7 - The selected character's appearance on the playing field is changed. Nothing else changes. Attacks, HP, etc. stay the same. Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Cheat Codes and Secrets (GameCube)
Using tricks in RPGs can come in handy
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance is an action role-playing game developed by Snowblind Studios for the PlayStation 2 and later for the Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance, originally released in 2001. It began the Dark Alliance series of games. The battle system in the game is simplistic, but includes customizable aspects. The human archer, for example, can assign experience points to enchanting arrows rather than to strength, which will result in more powerful arrows. Likewise, the Elven sorceress is capable of selecting between different spells. However, starting character statistics are preset and the player may only customize his or her character's statistics through gaining experience points. There are also relatively few non-player characters: the only characters who may be spoken to are those who are part of a quest or sidequest. Dark Alliance was built on a much more powerful game engine than the PC Baldur's Gate series, which utilized the Infinity Engine an engine debuting in 1998 which exclusively used sprite characters and static, pre-rendered backgrounds. The Dark Alliance engine allowed for such things as dynamic lighting, real-time shadowing, fully rendered backgrounds and 3d character models. Codes Cheat CodesAt the character choice screen, press and hold the following codes to get the desired cheat:Simultaneously press and hold L, R, X and Right on the D-Pad - 190,000 experience, 500 skill points and all or most spells/feats. Hold X + L + R (half-way) + Left, then press Z - Cheat Menu Simultaneously hold L, R, Y, Left on the D-Pad and press start Invulnerability and Level Warp At the character choice screen, press and hold L and R, then tap A. Keep pressing L and R until Drizzt comes onto the screen - Play as Drizzt UnlockablesBeat the game to earn the following:Extreme Mode - Beat the Gauntlet Level to unlock Extreme Difficulty Gauntlet Level - Beat the game under any difficulty. Play as Drizzt - Beat the game under extreme difficulty to be able to play as Drizzt. GlitchesEasy item duplicationIn order to make this work, you must have at least two save files on your game. With this secret, you can easily duplicate items between saved games. First, load the game that you wish to put the items into (or start a new game.) It must be a one player game. Pause the game and go to the change character option. Highlight the second player window and hit ''Y'' to import the character with the items you wish to duplicate. Select the saved file you wish to import from and then choose the character from that saved game. Hit ''A'' to confirm, the game will reload and both characters will be in the game. Have the character with the good items drop all of his items. Then go back to the change character menu and delete that character from the game. You are left with your first character and all the items the second character dropped. You can sell these or use them. You can actually do this unlimited times, sell all the items and make tons of money.SecretsHave your character as level 26 in 5 minutes.Once you start a new game, choose any character , use the level warp and go to the 3 last Onix Tower floor. (The one with the huge monster) GO to the room with the Large Iron golem and kill it. (does not matter how) You should then level up to Level 26 in one go.Keep playing your character after you beat the gameThis is similar to the item duplication secret. If you have beaten the game and still wish to play one player games with that character, here is how you can. Start a new game with anyone. Import the character you beat the game with into this game. Then delete the beginning player from the game.
