Black & White 2 Cheats and Tricks
It's time for miracles and fantastic creatures again!
You're back to the gods' playground to see the amazing transformations and notice that the grounds lost their innocence with the discoveries of new technologies and weapons. It's a much bigger challenge for your creatures, but people still need to be guided by a god. And that god must be you. Play a benevolent deity and make the tribes coexist peacefully and encourage them to grow into sprawling metropolis or be evil and prompt them to inflict their will upon others by creating and leading large armies to seek domination and destruction. Your creatures no longer have a cartoon-ish look and tend to be more cute than frightful. They were shaped to strike fear into the eyes of the villagers and be the fierce ultimate weapon of your armies. Design your fortress cities to reflect your personality by constructing fountains and lush gardens if you're Good or make your followers tremble at the sight of spikes and torture pits if you're Evil. Conquering the nine lands available is your ultimate goal, but you choose how to subjugate every of the five tribes that reside on each land. Since the battles just got more vicious and it's no more just about helping out, you may need a hand in the challenges with the other gods that await you. Luckily, a useful list of tricks is ready to be of help.Change Building CostsSince this involves editing a game file it is highly advisable that you first make a backup copy of the files before proceeding. All your resource management troubles can quickly end if you adjust the building costs. To do that you'll have to use a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad to edit the gamebalancebuilding.txt file in the Black & White 2-data-balance folder. Each category (such as AZTEC_ABODE_A, JAPANESE_ABODE_A, EGYPTIAN_ABODE_A, etc. until GREEK_MIRACLE_ENHANCER) has 26 numbers separated by a tab. These numbers correspond to the building's characteristics. A whole lot of numbers, but fortunately only two of them are of importance to you right now - the first two indicating the Wood (first number) and Ore (second number) requirements to construct that particular building. In example the "AZTEC_ABODE_A" requires 280 wood and 0 ore. You can in turn edit all the GREEK buildings' cost requirements to whatever you desire by changing the first two numbers that appear in each category. This way you can simply get the GREEK_TEMPLE that originally costs 3000 Wood and 1500 Ore, to only need 1 Wood and 1 Ore after the editing. The following 24 numbers remain unchanged. Remember to save the backup in case you ever decide to go back to playing fair. Control the Lionhead LogoIn the original Black And White you were able to control the opening logo for Lionhead. Lionhead Studios has brought this back. When you begin the game, you can fool around with their physics engine and left click on the box that fills up with beads and pull it away up or down or whatever else you feel like. When you are ready to continue with the game, release the box and wait for the screen to change. Infinite OreGo into C:-Program Files-Lionhead Studios-Black & White 2-Data-landscape-BW2 and open one of the Land (number). BWE files using Notepad. Scroll down until you see something like: CREATE_ORE_LODE("912.90,514.99", "Ore Lode Normal", 2914, 1000, 0.000000) Just change "Normal" to "Infinite" and repeat this for every Land that you want to use this cheat in. however, changes won't take effect until you move to the next land so plan ahead.Increase ImpressivenessGo to your game folder and navigate to DataBalance. Get to the file PlacementData.xml and open it in Wordpad. Find the third paragraph, which starts like object type="abode" name="greek_abode_c"Change in this line basevalue impressiveness="0.2" to basevalue impressiveness="20" Then open one of your saved games and place several villas. They will make your town massively impressive and you will win the land you are in. This will affect all saved games.Everything Becomes AffordableGo to the Black & White 2 folder

and find the file "GameBalanceArtefact.txt" in DataBalance directory. Copy the file to a safe location as you may need it later (create a backup). You can now safely open the file and prepare for editing it. You will see the values for everything on the tribute menu. Look for something similar to this: ARTEFACT_EPIC_WONDER_NUMBER_VOLCANO 100000 You're not interested in the rest of the numbers. Just change the first value directly to the right of any artifact. By doing so, you change its tribute cost in the game. However, don't change it below 1000 because it may not work properly. You can do this with any artefact, but make sure to also change the total cost at the end of the file to whatever it now ads up to.Infinite Evil PointsAfter you have successfully conquered a town by any means, you can remove all of the food and population. Now you should be getting evil points every few minutes due to the fact that you are not feeding the town, although nobody is living in it. So you'll strike as being evil even by doing nothing wrong.Norse mini-gameIn the fourth land, near the town you begin, there is a path that goes down. There is a man in a cave here. Throw him away as far as you can. The further you throw him, the more tribute you will get. Set new records to get more tribute each time. No, this is NOT a quest and doesn't show up anywhere, but it's still just as fun and rewarding.
