When I registered my games, I discovered that the 2008 version of these games is now out. Dell does not offer the new ones yet.

==================================================================================== ============================ Deer Hunter 2004 - Parameters to Launch a Dedicated Server Using Command-line or Batch File (BAT) ==================================================================================== ============================ >>> Dedicated-server, launching from a command-line or batch file (BAT): It is possible to launch a dedicated-server without initializing the game itself (without graphics and sounds). It allows you to launch a server in a network server computer more easily, like adding a command to the machine's start up configuration. Please take a look at the "RunDedicated.bat" file (send it to the Notepad) to get an example of how to launch a dedicated-server using a BAT file. When a dedicated-server is launched by this method, it will not start up graphics and sounds of the game. The initial loading process is silent and takes some seconds to the server be online. One important point is DirectX still required in the machine. The game doesn't start graphics and sounds but it uses the DirectPlay API to deal with network stuff. This game uses the TCP/IP port number 23457 to communicate, so if you want to configure your firewall to host a match you can allow this port number. >>> Available parameters: When building the command-line, you can use these instructions to launch the game: -Dedicated_Server:{TRUE or FALSE} Page 4

Cabela's Deer Hunter 2004 Hints (PS2)

Learn to sneak

Cabela's Deer Hunter 2004 is a hunting video game that was created by Sand Grain Productions and released by Activision Value Publishing for the Playstation 2 console, for the Xbox and the PC. The title was launched in 2003 and is classed as a hunting simulation game played from a first person perspective. There are some role playing and third person view elements. The game allows the player to explore places like British Columbia, Colorado, New Mexico and the rest of North America and hunt in those regions as you embark on the hunting adventure of a virtual life time. The structure of the game makes it so that the player begins all the areas and all the missions in an outpost. This allows you to customize his gear using thousands of real world pieces of equipment so that you are better prepared to confront the challenge ahead. There are 157 pieces of trophy game that you can pursue. They include well-known species like the Whitetail, the Mule Deer and the Columbian Blacktail to more exotic species such as Coues, Fallow and Sika. Each animal you hunt will present a unique challenge and hunt environment. The game is a hunter's dream because it also features real video of all the creatures you can hunt to give you a better idea of what you are looking for and to provide you with some information on your kills.
