How to Install Delta Force Land Warrior Compiled by Iceman
You would be surprised how many people I have been associated with over the many years that I have been involved with computers who are unsure how to install software on their home computers. Tutorial Category: Basic User. Just follow the step by step instructions Step.1 1. Insert your Land Warrior CD into your CD Rom Drive.
The CD will automatically start and after a little while the "Main Window" will appear displaying a number of options you can choose.

Step.2 To install a copy of Delta Force Land Warrior onto your computer you need to do the following. 1. Move the mouse pointer over the gray box next to the label "Install Delta Force Land Warrior"
2. Press the left mouse button once.
A new screen will appear with the "Welcome" dialog box.

Read the information provided on the "Welcome" dialog box. Note: I strongly suggest that you should always read the information contained on the these dialog boxes as mistakes can be easily made. Once you have read and understood the information on the "Welcome" dialog box 3. Move the mouse pointer over the button labeled "NEXT"
4. Press the left mouse button once.
A new screen will appear with the "Enter Information" dialog box.

Step.3 This is where you type in the "Product Code" or "CD key". The "Product Code" or "CD key" is a unique alpha numeric code that has been allocated to each manufactured CD that will activate your new software program, without this key you cannot proceed any further with the installation. The "Product Code" or "CD key" is usually located on the CD sleeve or the inside cover of the CD case. 1. Place the mouse pointer over the text box and press the left mouse button. A flashing I bar will appear. 2. Type in the product code. Ensure that you place a - sign between each group of the alpha numeric code.

Once you have place the product code in to the text box. 3. Move the mouse pointer over the button labeled "NEXT"
If you have correctly typed in the product code you will proceed to
the next screen, which will show a information box labeled "Choose Destination Location"
If you have made a mistake in typing in your product code the
following "Information Box" will appear, which reads "Invalid product key. please re-enter" will appear.
5. Press the "OK" button and you will be returned to the "Enter Information" dialog box. 6. Re-type in your product code and press the "Next" button. Step.4
The "Choose Destination Location" gives the user the choice of changing the default location of the program, i.e. placing it on another drive. I would suggest that you use the default destination, which is "C/:Program Files/Novalogic/Delta Force Land Warrior"

If you purchase other Delta Force games they will be placed into the same Novalogic directory. 3. Move the mouse pointer over the button labeled "NEXT"
The next screen you will see is the "Setup Type" screen, which
allows the use to choose the size of the installation.

Step.5 1. Choose the size setting that suits you computer hard drive space.
A large install will use approximately 550 megabytes of space,
which allows for quick game loading and multiplayer LAN games.
A Small Install will use approximately 175 - 225 megabytes of
space. 2. Move the mouse pointer over the button labeled "NEXT" 3. Press the left mouse button once.
The next screen you will see is the "Copying Files" screen, which is

the progression indicator for the files being copied to your destination folder on your hard drive.

Once all the files have been copied to your hard drive a new screen

will appear. Step.6

The "Novalogic Product Registration" dialog box allows the user to
register the game with Nova World, which is part of Novalogic.

You can make a couple of choices here.
1. If you press the "Cancel" button if you choose not to register your game, a confirmation dialog box will appear
To continue press the "Yes" button, which will take you to the next dialog box "Setup Complete" where you can choose one of two options (Refer to Step.7). 2. If you place your age into the box labeled "Age", which will enable the "Register Online" button

3. If you now choose to press the "Cancel" button refer to "Step.6.1". 4. If you press the "Register Online" button you will be redirected to an internet page. Note: This will depend on you have an ISP connection and it is switched on. 5. Fill out the online registration form. Once you have finished the online registration form the internet connection will close and you will be redirected to the next dialog box to complete your installation.

Step.7 The "Setup Complete" dialog box gives you the option to install Directx 7 by placing a activating the small tick box located center left of dialog box. Note: If you already have a higher/newer version of Directx it will not load this version over the top. 1. Press the "Finish" button to finish the installation. This will return you to the "Main Window" where you will be able to choose another index item.
