Raising Your Security Expectations
Mad Doc Software to Utilize ECD Systems, Inc. Technology
Marstons Mills, Mass. February 28, 2005 ECD Systems, the technology leader in protecting valuable PC game
assets during entire product life, announced today that Mad Doc Software, LLC has begun evaluation of ECDs production workstation, named the Security Authoring Workstation, or SAW. The SAW integrates the Digital Armor technology with an automated duplication system, allowing design studios and publishers to automate in-house volume production-quality discs that are each unique and forensically traceable. In addition, the discs created by the SAW and protected with Digital Armor can be securely circulated without the risk of unauthorized copies or hacking of the content. The SAW can also create secure gold masters for replicators; each forensically unique for end-product identification. I would highly recommend that anyone developing or publishing PC games who seeks substantial improvement in security protection request an evaluation of Digital Armor from ECD, stated Dr. Ian Lane Davis, CEO of Mad Doc Software. Protection of assets in the design studio is just as important as protection of the content with the consumer.
