Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods is a computer game in the Populous series for the Amiga, Atari ST and DOS-based computers, developed by Bullfrog Productions. Populous II is a direct sequel to Bullfrog's earlier game Populous and is one of the company's most famous games. Like its predecessor, Populous II is a god game, where the player takes the role of a god, helping his people fight battles against followers of an enemy god.Whereas Populous only generally alluded to gods, Populous II is specifically set in Greek mythology. The player takes the role of a demigod, one of Zeus's countless children with mortal women and has to battle one Greek deity at a time until finally facing his father. Zeus has promised to let the player into the Pantheon if he can survive all the battles. Populous II has considerably more "divine intervention" effects than Populous. Whereas Populous had eight effects, Populous II has twenty-nine. Populous: The Beginning is the third game in the PC strategy god games of the Populous series, developed by Bullfrog Productions in 1998. The game was the first in the series to use true 3D graphics. Unlike earlier games in the series, which cast the player in the role of a god influencing loyal followers, The Beginning took a radical departure from the earlier games and instead cast the player as a shaman, who directly leads her tribe against opponents.(Wikipedia)CHEATSPress Tab + F11, then type buyme or byrne and press Enter at the window that appears to enable cheat mode. He will then become a part of your tribe.More ShamansIn multi-player mode, use Ghost Army on your Shaman. Your opponent will not be able tell which Shaman is the real one at first sight. One way to tell is that only your real Shaman uses spells.Killing enemy ShamansIf you have the Swamp spell, cast it on the enemy Shaman's regeneration site after killing her. When the enemy Shaman returns, she will be instantly killed by the swamp.Protecting ShamanPlay a multi-player game and get the Ghost Army spell. You can easily fool someone by creating a copy of yourself (Shaman), and then hiding the real one on an innocent looking hut. Many people do not realize the real Shaman can do this to hide, so it is a great hiding place. You will be surprised at how the enemy looks, but finds no real Shaman They will assume the ghost is the true Shaman (and spells on it).Slow volcanoIt is possible to create a volcano where the lava flows out so slowly that it takes approximately three to five minutes to finish. First, enable the codes to get all spells and buildings. Make a balloon hut and command a follower to build a balloon. Command the follower to train to a firewarrior and get back in the balloon with the Shaman. Go to an enemy site that you want to destroy and use two different non-lethal spells and quickly use the volcano spell. This should create a slow volcano, and your followers can walk on it.
