The "lullaby" of the series has arrived
Silent Hill 4: The Room is the fourth installment in the survival horror series Silent Hill. It is the second Silent Hill game to be released with a subtitle, following the expanded version of Silent Hill 2.Henry Townshend is living in South Ashfield; a town half a day's drive away from Silent Hill. One day he finds himself mysteriously locked in his own apartment. He cannot escape through either the windows or his front door, which has been chained shut from the inside. No one, not even people standing directly outside the door, can hear him when he pounds on the door and cries for help. After five days of entrapment Henry finds a hole that has opened up in his bathroom wall. Armed only with a steel pipe that broke loose when the wall opened, a carton of chocolate milk and a bottle of wine, he proceeds to venture into the hellish madness of "Silent Hill". The hole leads Henry to a variety of strange areas, inhabited by dangerous and sometimes immortal creatures. Unlockables Alternate Cynthia costume Unlock all 4 endings & Eileen's alternate costume on 1 game save. Start a new game & select Eileen's alt. costume. Cynthia will wear her alternate costume. Brand New Fear mode - Successfully complete the game on any difficulty setting. Save the game after the credits complete to unlock the "Brand New Fear" option. Eileen Nurse outfit - Finish the game one time and save. Start a new game using that save and go to room 302 to find the Outfit, it can be picked up on the 3rd time through Locate Chainsaw and after finishing the game one time save and then reload, save then go to forest world and look for the cut tree, the chainsaw will be there. Submachine Gun - Successfully complete the game with a rank of at least 9 big stars. Start a game in "Brand New Fear" mode and look in Room 202 in the Apartment World Unlock all weapons mode - Finish one weapon mode. Unlock One weapon mode - Get 10 stars using hard mode. GlitchesForce game to run on systemOn some systems, even though you meet the requirements to play the game it won't run. To bypass this initial check, simply open the folder where the game is installed (Default C:Program FilesKonamiSilent Hill 4) and rename CheckSpec.dll to something else like CheckSpec.dll.bak.
