Hack into the game for some extra fun
SWAT 4 is a tactical first-person shooter computer game developed by Irrational Games and released by Vivendi Universal on April 5, 2005. It was built on Irrational Games's Vengeance engine powered by Unreal Engine 2.0 technology. SWAT 4 puts the player into the role of a SWAT team leader where he commands four other team members to resolve various situations, such as hostage standoffs or apprehensions of dangerous subjects. An expansion to SWAT 4, entitled SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate, was released on February 28, 2006.SWAT 4 features a single-player campaign where the player has to take his SWAT team through a number of missions. The missions are not related and there is no overarching storyline. The game aims to have gameplay similar to the real SWAT team experience. For example, it encourages the use of non-lethal weapons to subdue and arrest the suspects rather than shooting them. In addition, players must follow strict protocol to ensure proper use of force. Players may not fire on suspects with lethal weaponry unless the suspect points their firearm at a fellow officer or a civilian. CheatLocate the swat4.ini in the -SWAT 4 directory. Back it up before hand in case you mess up. Open it using Notepad or similar text editor and search for the string [Engine.GameEngine]. Locate the first occurrence of EnableDevTools=False under this section. Change the False value to True and save the ini file. Press the "~" key to bring up the console window. Enter the following codes to activate function. behindview - Toggle 3rd Person Camera. 0 disables, 1 enables. open mapname - Loads mapname map. This does not include the file extension. god Invulnerability for self. invisible - Invisibility self. 0 disables, 1 enables. fly - Set gravity to zero for self. ghost - Set gravity to zero for self and allow passing through environmental brushes. walk - Resets ghost and fly modes to inactive. setgravity - Sets gravity to value. Default value unknown. setjump - Sets self jump height to value. Default value unknown. Game HackingNote: Make a back up of the file being edited, or you may have to reinstall the game. Ammo Limit Chage: Go into SwatEquipment.ini in your Swat directory. Then, go down to the weapons. Go to where it says "MagazineSize=(Number)". Set the number to a million or two, to get much ammo. This doesn't work on the Macineguns, only on Shotguns, Pistols, and the Tazer. Change, add, or remove ammo types: Let's say you want to add more ammo-types to the Colt Carbine M4A1. Go down to the place where it says "PlayerAmmoOption=SwatAmmo.M4A1MG_JHP". Press enter, and add a new ammo option, for example "PlayerAmmoOption=SwatAmmo.AK47MG_FMJ". Make weapons stronger: Go down to the places where it says "OverrideArmDamageModifier=(Number)", or something like that. Change the number to something like "99". Then, your gun will most probably kill a human, even if you hit him in the arm. Make more fire modes: Go down to where it says "AvailableFireMode=FireMode_Auto". This means that this weapon can shoot automatic. Now, copy and paste it, and change "Auto" to "Single", "Burst", and "Semi". Then, you can shoot 1 single shot at a time, burst-shots, and Semi-automatic. Change Burst-Shots fire-rate: Go down to where it says "BurstRateFactor=(Number)", and change the number to "4" or something. Just make sure it is higher than the current value. Change shots fired per burst: Go down to where it says "BurstShotCount=(Number)", and change the Number to the number of bullets you want to be shot (Like 3 shots, 10 shots, etc). Range increase: If you want to change how far your bullets shall fly, change "Range=(Number)" to something over "4000". Change accuracy: To set the accuracy of your weapon more secure, use the "WalkingAimError=(Number)". It means how bad accuracy you should have. If you change the number to "0", you should have perfect accuracy. NOTE: As you see this is "WALKINGAimError", which means that this is only for

the walking. You must change "StandingAimError=" to "0", for having perfect accuracy/aim when you stand, and the others too. The "Penalties", under "Instaneus penalties" must all be set to "0", except for one. The "LookAimErrorPenaltyFactor=(Number)" must NOT be changed to "0". This should be "0.000125". I think that if you change this to "0", it will cause a bug. Here's a video showing a hardcore end of the game on the elite difficulty level:
