| What more needs to be said? This series just keeps getting better and better. This game is very good one player. SLOOOOWWWWWWWWWW and so boring. Round 2 was the best. What a waste of time bringing out this sequel. | |

| Often boxing games suffer from button bashing syndrome which virtually renders them as arcade beat em ups like Street Fighter. Fight Night: Round 3 THE best boxing game out at the moment. I own the original Fight night, and round 2. This betters those two by far. | |

| So good yet so dissappointing. Fight Night round 3 is a good game but it could have been so much more. | |

Fight Night Round 2 Hints (PS2)
Fight Night Round 2 is another installment in the boxing simulation series coming from EA Sports, with the player again asked to take control of a fighter and lead him towards glory or defeat.
Fight tested Moby Games
The new game also allows gamers to take on well-known boxing legends and recreate their most important matches, complete with commentary and historical vignettes. [admark=1]GAMEPLAY HINTS Knockdowns As you progress in just about any weight class, you will notice that some of your top opponents always seem to know where you are going to punch when they are dizzy, therefore blocking your punches and preventing a knockdown. To knock down an opponent who uses this type of defense, wind up your Haymaker and rapidly press L1 about five or six times. Eventually, let the Haymaker go, and you will almost always hit your opponent and knock him down. Avoiding knockouts To avoid a knockout, when your opponent gets close to you, perform a grab. You will then exit knockout mode. Faster first round knockouts Go to the "My Corner" screen, then go to options. Turn on the 3 knock-out rule. Knock your opponent down three times in the first round. Try to do this as fast as possible and beat 59 seconds. You should now have the fastest KO record. Start a new career and go pro immediately. Go to the settings and turn on 3 knockdown (T.K.O.). Fight the rank 49 boxer and constantly Haymaker him. If he starts blocking, do a Haymaker on the other side. Once you are in Knockdown mode you will need one more Haymaker to knock him down. Once he gets back up, it will take about four Haymakers to knock him down again. Try to knock him out in 59 seconds to get the fastest knock out record. Full description
The analog control punch system introduced in EA Sports' original Fight Night gave gamers a whole new way to do battle in the virtual squared circle, and this follow-up game aims to refine that system while offering more control over the boxers in the ring. The sequel is designed to make it easier to move a fighter around the canvas, allowing for realistic blocks, dodges, and stick-and-moves; clinching is now possible as well. Players can determine the type of punch they'll throw in Round 2, whether a quick, light jab or a slow, hard wallop. Round 2's "Haymaker" feature lets fighters deliver a true, one-punch knock-out blow -- if they're brave enough to leave themselves open as they wind up (and also confident in their ability to connect with their opponent, to avoid an onslaught of ruthless counterpunches).
